Errrrrr....aaaaarrrrgggghhh...why does Hyosung wants to keep themselves away from the words, reputed, reliable, quality, promise, service?

Why can't they source to someone who atleast to a lubricated head? After a pinch of salt with Kinetic, aren't they trusting with any other Indian auto manufacturer?

Korea's Hyosung to announce re-entry into India by Oct-end

Korean two-wheeler major Hyosung is set announce its plans to re-enter India by the end of this month. CNBC-TV18's Swati Khandelwal-Jain has learnt from sources that Hyosung has tied up with Garware Motors and will have its 650cc bikes assembled at Pune.
Hyosung will be looking at bringing in the GT 650R and the ST7 Cruiser. The company is going to make an announcement by the month-end i.e. on October 27.

The Garware group is an industrial house in India which essentially deals in textiles, marine and education. For the Garware group, it would be the first time that they will enter the automobile industry.
Hyosung, sources said, would assemble the bikes in Pune. Hence, cost is expected to be quite competitive. They will compete with Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki in India. Hyosung had earlier come to India under the Kinetic-Hyosung alliance and had brought in then the 250cc bikes - the Comet and Aquila. But now they are bringing in the more powerful bikes, the 650cc bikes, a segment that is still untapped in the Indian market.

What would 650R cost here? 3.41L by CKD route??
Just converted currencies on UK rates of Ninja250R and the Hyosung and not minding other global economic factors

Please Hyosung bring it close to those calculations. I will eat up the market of Kwacker

October seems like the "it" month for motorcycling news this year.

nice to have some concrete info about the GT650R launch again.

so that prolly means pricing will be announced by this week too.

Yes being priced nearly 3.5L overseas i'm sure that it'll break into the 5L bracket, but still would be a good buy if it's less than 5L. Lets wait and see how they price it.

I do not think so that , it will eat up the market of the Kwacker....

Couple of months back wnet thru a video review of a comparison between ninja 250 and hyosung 250 , in terms of built quality , the kwacker was way ahead.

As suggested, the plastic in Hyosung doesn't seem that good.

And in the 250cc segment , Kawa has always ruled the world..

Correct me if i am wrong.

I guess he was talking about the quality of parts compared between Kawasaki and Hyosung.. I think he is talking about that MCN entry level motorcycle shootout where they mention that Kawasaki is way ahead of Hyosung in built quality..

If people are fine with the quality of bikes from Bajaj and Mahindra, then they shoudnt be bothered about Hoysung quality either. The only thing Hoysung needs to concentrate on is the pricing and ASS.

I had look at the 650R when I was in london few months back.

The plastic quality is decent enough...not great but OKish.

As bprags said...its ture.
