Welcome to xBHP, btw at this point of time we don't even know the price of Duke 125. The only thing we know is it would be priced around 1 lac as quoted by Rajiv Bajaj in some interview. Let it get launched first then we will have a good 12-18 months to speculate everything about the Duke 200.Originally posted by zincha View PostDude Dude Dude !

KTM 250 Duke in 18 Months
Cool:
"125cc motor to be built in Pune"

"It'll be very easy to alter the color and the look of the bike just by changing three parts - the headlight, the seat and the rear number-plate mounting," says Prielinger.

Aren't we talking about two different things when we say a
'250cc up to 300 cc single-cylinder engine' that will take 18months after 125 Duke AND
'200cc engine swap' model for India and other non-EU markets????I like 'em Naked
Blah Blah Blah!
Reason is not automatic. Those who choose not to recognise it, can't be conquered by it.

125 and then 250 / 300 and the more for EU and I think the wait time is for the EU ...
No news about the Indian Release / Production dates as far as I know
Speculation: May be Q3 and official news may pop at Q1

sorry for going OT
from the article quoted in previous links
"...But they(bajaj) still have issues from not using high-quality materials on their own bikes, and I think we showed them how important it is not to compromise on that with suppliers, but to only use the best in order to gain customer confidence in your products.."
does this mean we will get better quality components in the pulsar series....R.Bajaj had also said somewhere that there will be sharing of technology with KTM/Kawasaki in their products...hope to see this happen atleast with the rumoured p250....atleast that should be soon enough since KTM200 is probably 2 yrs away

Pulsar 250..?? Who said so?
Now don't go on believing the baseless speculations of amateur sites/blogs.

About the bigger pulsar...250 I presumed because, I thought by the bajaj nature of adding 20cc to their existing bikes, 250 might be the next version...my bad.. but the speculation about any bigger pulsar was based on the discussions that went on in another thread in our xbhp forumOriginally posted by payeng View PostKTM 200 2 years away? The article says KTM 250/300 will take 18 mths after the 125 release...they are de novo engines so might take that time...KTM200 being a reworked 125 might launch sooner..I was just being generally skeptic..I definitely wish they launch it sooner
