Re: Petrol prices update thread
52 something here today, still the same shite quality though!Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Re: Petrol prices update thread
I have read eenadu paper that its 68.21 in Hyderabad. The price before the cut was 72.14. So together with 30% state tax reduction, it should be around 3.90 rupees cut.Originally posted by shoeb2015 View PostHyderabad Rs. 69.92/- per litre. (At HPCL)
:O Thats daylight robbery. Please bring the issue with the management of the BPCL. Its not about the money, but we should try to teach a lesson to those morons with unethical practices.Originally posted by s1d View Postjust got cheated at a petrol bunk in Hyderabad a few minutes ago - BPCL bunk at juiblee hills checkpost
They said the price is not reduced, and the attitude as usual nothing to write about. So I took the computerised bill from the dispenser and will be taking this issue up with BPCL and...
Take a look at the snap of the bill and the news in the papers this morning.

it was 5.12AM on my way back from work.. as the sun rose i got ripped. It is of-course about the money (At-least to them) I have emailed bpcl and posted a feedback thru their website. Yet to hear from them. If i do not hear from them in two days, i will go to the bunk and speak with the owner/in-charge and see what they gotta say/do and then take this up with the consumer forum. I am sure they made a killing this morning ! this is one of the busiest bunks 24x7.

Re: Petrol prices update thread
Guys, update on my complaint to BPCL on overcharging. Sequence of events that happened a cpl of hours ago, (after my email complaint to them 5 days ago)
1. Reply to my email from BPCL Manager Sales Hyderabad asking my contact number - I replied with my phone number
2. Received a call from BPCL sales manager Mr.Suresh Tripathy, briefed him on the issue.. -- CALL RECORDED, let me know if its ok to post it here if someone wants to listen to it
3. Received call from the Petrol bunk (i guess owner/incharge) - Trying hard to justify the mistake and desperately asks me to withdraw complaint and finally asks me to meet him (settlement ?) -- AGAIN CALL recorded
4. received mail from Mr.Ronald Noronha (Chief Manager (Brand & PR))
PS: God bless the android and the call recording app (Allcallrecorder) - automatically records every incoming and outgoing call

Re: Petrol prices update thread
Sid, awesome!! Way to go. The management of BP should know that the dealer has cheated many customers, and its not just you. Hope the management of BP takes some serious action.

Re: Petrol prices update thread
the seriousness of the action will be a bit proportional to the seriousness of my response, otherwise it be more like 'paperwork' formality. lets see how it goes. the manager mr.Suresh has asked me to contact him if any issues now or in the future.. so there you go you have the contact details of a BPCL executive in hyd in case of any issues..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostSid, awesome!! let me get hold of my data cable and i will upload the recorded calls for you guys to hear what they had to say

Re: HP Ugadi offer winners list not displayed/Disclosed
Although not a similar issue
There was this ugadi scheme at all hp outlets in Andhra Pradesh where a two wheeler gets a coupon for filling up 200 rs worth of fuel. The banner clearly mentioned that there would be a draw every fortnight and a final bumper draw. The said scheme ran from around Feb first week to April first week. There was no information available with any of the hp outlets regarding the fortnight mini draw or the bumper draw. I happened to give a written request to the Marredpally Branch head Ms Vijayalakshmi on 15 April 2013, I was assured that the list of winners would be emailed to me. I will have to follow up and see what interesting things would emerge from this.

Re: Petrol prices update thread
Today I filled petrol at a BPCL pump and it was Rs. 68.88/- per litre.
Last time I filled at HPCL(on 30th april),I was charged Rs.69.14/- per litre.
I don't know why there is a difference in pricing.
Has HPCL pump has cheated me ?
