quick travel in a auto rikshaw in bangalore is more expensive than using the bike.. bus is economical but we need lot of time and lot of patience!

if this is the rate at which the prices keep increasing, i dont understand how will a normal person do his daily commute!

auto rickshaw costs a min fare of Rs.17 for 2km and Rs.7/km there after in bangalore (if meter is not tampered)

If I'm not wrong then the current rate is Rs.8.3/km for every subsequnt km, Rs 7 used to be the earlier thing when the base fare was Rs14.

            Bio-fuels

I don't know why all the governments in the past have not tried to research a way to reduce dependence on oil imports. Brazil is one country where most of its vehicles run on ethanol and alternative fuels (Ethanol fuel in Brazil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). India also should do something similar.

OPEC is not a charity trust and will keep hiking the price of oil based on the demand.

shell's any day better than HP or BP and bike runs 1 or 2 km further per liter.
+1. And the vehicle (2/4 wheeler, whatever) runs much better too

Ah! I got my answer. I won't have any surprises this Saturday when I go to re-fuel then

The bus is also not economical until one has a bus pass. For just a short distance of <4kms today i was charged Rs.6. The buses in bangalore are the costliest & the one in chennai are cheapest.

Its high time we go electric...

Its high time we go electric...I hope the e-motorcycles landed up in Indian shores...like the Harley's.

I am not a favorite for its looks and sound....if offered in India @ a reasonable price i think there will be takers for this one....

i guess these e-motorcycles are a different league than the e-scooters.

After every increase in the pricing,
I always think i should buy the 150cc version.

God can I have a personal oil well which government even could not overtake, pls

even 150 cc is way to high.....100 cc is what to look for.

keeping the current scenario in mind i think bajaj must be working on some 25cc-50cc concept bike like platina 25cc or discover 50cc

In Chennai, Speed is 63/-, regular petrol of BP is 60/-. The numbers are "high"ly cute

                                Break a tooth I say...!!!*

*I meant tooth of sprocket...so increase in average can be compensated with the hike. Break one tooth at every hike unless there's only one or two teeth left
