    Ninja 650R launched!!!

    the new CKD policy by GoI is coming in the way.

    During the recently concluded Ninja Green Day at the MMSC race track in Chennai, xBhp caught up with Mr. Eric Vas, President Bajaj Auto and we talked to him about many issues concerning bikes and bikers in India. He confirmed that the bigger Ninja is in the pipeline and Bajaj will launch it within 2-1/2 months provided the issue of the new CKD policy is resolved.

    Watch this video as Mr. Vas shares his views with xBhp on Ninja sales, competition with Honda CBR250, and last but not the least THE BIGGER NINJA that is going to hit the Indian market very soon!

    Really looking forward for this 1. Also, I think the new CKD policy will let to the revision of prices of 250r too.

            I guess the new Trade pact with Thailand will not impact Ninja250 wrt the new CKD policy of the Govt. But what I believe is that Kawasaki will introduce 1000 CC Ninja & leave the 250 CC for Bajaj. In future, it's most likely that Bajaj will come up with 250 CC Pulsar.

              You mean ZX 10R as a CBU. I don't think so. The last thing Kawasaki want is selling under 100 units of something, and preparing Service Centres for the same!
              I'm eagerly waiting for the N650 for myself. That might actually cl!ck some volumes compared to CBU's.

              So, its competition right now is only GT 650R. And the only thing that can kill its sales properly... is Honda's CBR 600F. Otherwise, Bigger Ninja is here to stay.

                    650R is more practical but i guess only sports bikes sell here so...
