    I can sniff it......
Not much time guys...max by aug we will have bookings started!!!!!!!!!

But yes cost....since it will be the first genuine 650 apart from Korean ones!!! the cost will be like the 250R---very high from rest of the bikes.....and then may be next year the honda's and yammies will strike with a low cost saving 600cc!!!

This is just a prediction...i hope it remains one

        Nice teaser.

Expect the Ninja 650R to be priced at around 6.5L ex-showroom. This is what i heard from a reliable source but with Hyosung already in the market this might change... a remote possibility though.

It'll be nice if they have exchange offers / trade-in options for the ninja 250R (asked this and was told it wont be offered at least as of now and no plans for this in future too).

I can't reveal who confirmed this so please dont ask

Has to be nice... One of the best agencies does their ads and marketing... Ogilvy & Mather...

I dont think any company would give such an exchange offer as the baby too is in the initial stages of its lifecycle... In India that is...

I think it would be upwards of 6 most probably... 5.5 I think is highly unlikely...

You want it to be upwards of 6 so that you don't get confused between this and GT

I think we had shared our thoughts with the Bajaj team when the test rides happened and we suggested 5.5L ex-showroom for the 650R but I don't know how feasible this is given the new CKD structure.

I don't want to discount any manufacturer but I don't believe the Hyosungs are a match for the Ninja in terms of build quality, reliability and re-sale. Garware is an unknown while Probiking have a decent reputation from the job they have done with the Ninja 250R.

Looking good. I'm just hoping this happens within a time-frame that will land me my ride by August 1st week. Thats all I want really...to take something like this to Ladakh and back.

I expect the ex-showroom price to be between 5-5.25 lakhs.

So will it be priced below 6?? This is purely awesome!! Met dept. says that we will have normal monsoons, bike manufacturers have decided to flood the market with superbikes!!!!

Maybe... But its just a thought... The 250 is almost double the rates of the US... This being at $7200 I cant see it being below 6-6.5...

OT: Good time Honda should bring in their practical CBR600F. They will have one customer (me) for sure. We want middle weight supersports and not the 1Litre road rockets.
