    @Prasoon

That was a pretty interesting first post in xbhp. Are you sure you are not on someone's payroll, here to spoil the Korean's party?

I'd like to make a little correction to the price.. its gonna be above 5(ex showroom) for sure but my friend tells me its going to cost 5.5 all inclusive on road in delhi... but the figures dont add up somehow... if the bike is above 5 (ex showroom) how can it be 5.5 or below on road...??? does anyone know the taxes in delhi for that price range..???

Ofcourse it HAS to be correct. Not everyday do we get members sign up and post confirmed news on the same day

But yeah, I still strongly believe the competition of such a bike is not against another similar bike. It has to be against a small car.

List stands at a healthy 5. (Just in case tomorrow they decide deliveries in this order too)

Pricing it under 5Lakhs will safe guard them against a lot of jitters. And then they can price the KTM200 on par with the CBR! I will take two!

As someone mentioned before, I don't think they'll price it below GT650R...
I guess, ex-showroom will be close to 5.5L for sure.

650 CC, more than 65 PS ( correct me if i'am wrong) sounds good !
NINJA 250 already is 3.2 lakhs, and if all the increase in tax will be taken into account it'll push 3.5, and if this 650 comes with 5.00 lakh tag, who'll buy 250 then ?

Agreed its a track tool, high RPM rush machine, but, 650R with slicker tyres will be great fun around track too !

Heard Hyosung 650R vibrates so much after 6000RPM that even RTR laughs at it !
You are actually comparing 160 cc TVSundaram's bike with a 650CC 72 bhp bike..
Just wondering what speeds each bike would be at 6000 rpm?

                OT:

                RTR some 70-75kmph and Hyosung 650R- 140kmph.

Even if it is 5L OTR my cheque is ready....Highly unlikely it would happen though,at least here in bangalore.
Coz with the road tax for the bigger Ninja in Bangalore,I can almost buy another R15

The OTR for GT650r in bangalore is 5.6... N650r will definitely be atleast 50 to 60k more...

                      • I do not think so that the OTR on the bigger ninja will be 5.. it will in excess of 5.5lakhs..at least bajaj would like to make some bucks at least on this model.. lets see.

I see it kissing some 6.0-6.5 onroad.
And if that happens, i'll wait more.

Exactly my point! If I can stretch upto 6, why not shell out a few more and buy a ducati which is 200 more ccs, hell more iconic!

The N650 is a utility bike, the question is not how much bajaj should price it... rather would you buy it if its close to the 5L OTR mark!

+1 to that or go for the Hyosung might be,after reading the ownership experiences on xbhp

make me #6 in that list. Though i dont like n650 design very much but below 6lakh is very much tempting for me. As i would prefer kawa over hyosung anytime. Already cancelled cbr250 booking for some family reason and saved some money from that for a higher one. Now im tryin to grow my interest in n650 looks as i know i wont be able to afford more then that amount.
