There has been numerous speculation threads on the same, from october last year... The news from visordown is nothing new... infact most of the so called news were discussed in this very same forum long time back, Take a rest guys and come back once you people have even a tiny'lil bit of official confirmed news.
Till then meditate propably? :P

Guys! the rumuor is that the new R15 can be tweaked upto stage 2 mods as compared to the current model (which was capable of stage 1). However, apart from the cosmetic changes; it doesn't seems that anything has been or going to be changed at all.
I really think that Yamaha should reconsider this and launch this model with an engine upgrade as well. As far as I know from my links at Yamaha, it's only FZ which is going to have a 250 CC engine.
It's time for Yamaha to analyze the Indian motorcycling scenarios a bit thoroughly as the competition is almost neck to neck with it's Japenese counterparts bringing up engineering marvels in form of upgraded cubic capacity.Last edited by MJ1984; 04-30-2011, 06:46 AM.Comment

It seems that its another speculation without any concrete evidence.
Till date no official news about the launch.
whether its the revamped R-15 or R250... if its gonna launch anytime sooner (read May-July 2011). There must be some advertisements now... atleast, given the speculated launch dates, Yamaha would have made some official anouncement by now...
I'd already postponed the purchase in January and again when I decided in Apr to go for current one; this thread came up.
waiting till end of May, if there is no official news of the Launch till mid of May; I'll book the current one.
I can't hold for long... I think if this game continues, I might end up purchasing a car instead. [Parents' pressure to go for Car on Loan

I could somehow manage the price of R-15 from my savings.. The Price difference between R-15 and CBR is 50K.. which I could not manage till I save for another 5 months...
Moreover, Parents are ready to help financing if I go for the Car (Actually they are worried because Dad had very bad experience about Biking in Delhi region and I stay here Alone), But I don't want a car and don't want to buy it with Parents financial help...
I want my first bike to be owned completely my my own earned money... thats why I've waited so long... else I could have bought the bike much earlierComment
