Minimum down payment is around 50k, you can check the details at a showroom near you but you will need to wait for couple of months if you book a CBR now because of the huge bookings.

Actually you can go for finance in case of CBR as well, there are finance options which the showroom guys will give you and since you are earning there should not be any problem and you do not need to ask your parents to help you out in finance.Originally posted by Sauravh View Post

Thats the reason I'm not going for CBR... apart from this, I'm very slim guy (working to gain weight
) and found that R-15 just suits the bill for me, be it cost, maintainance, and riding (CBR being heavier is a -ve for me). Also, I didn't wanted to get finance for bike otherwise I would have booked the Ninja instead...
Anyways... I'll wait till End of May, then I would just go for the current R-15 or buy a Car to make parents happy

The thing is, nobody including the moderators have any concrete information about what, when and how its going to be? I have some very good friends who still have a good jack in Yamaha (now they all are working for HD). They said that they are sure about a liquid cooled 250 CC FZ. However, when it comes to R15 upgrade, one of them said, " Dude! that R & D team is like ghost between us. Not even their peon is aware of what they are doing, so forget about us."
I'm just sitting down, holding my horses and eagerly waiting for something ballistic from Yamaha stable in form of R15 upgrade...

I've been visiting this thread multiple times (read : around 40) a day and there still isn't any concrete info regarding this thing. I've been postponing the purchase of my first bike from January, and I hope something good comes up by July cuz that's when I intend to get myself a crotch rocket.sigpic

I see this as very strategic business move from Yamaha, by delaying the announcement they are buying time to develop their productOriginally posted by MJ1984 View PostThe thing is, nobody including the moderators have any concrete information about what, when and how its going to be? They already got response numbers for Honda's 250 CBR along with sales history of Ninja 250 so now they know what exactly the market needs.
I hope the fill the gap between CBR 250 n Ninja 250 both performance and price wise
