Cool man, atleast your family is allowing you to buy so expensive bike. At my end, i have to make it surprise, otherwise my family will never ever allow me to buy one

That's even more expensive when compared to on-road Mumbai cost of 5.51Lacs for single tone

No matter a 250 will be standing next to you, it can't make anything in feeling better than a 650.

And bdw if somebody want to wait, than wait is endless...after that so called 250, may be some 150 will be coming next year with better looks
I really do not worry about what 99% "janta" will think about my bike, because most of the people are not aware of what these bikes are so they will always take your "white GT 650R" and "white karizma ZMR" as same.
Well said....its as simple as i ride my bike for myself not for others to see and applaud...it is supposed to give me all sorts of visual, riding and other pleasure ....there would always be people who will criticize anything and anything at all....

If the body and chasis are same, then the exclusivity factor would surely take a hit and the 650 owners wont like it whereas 250 buyers would be happy about the looks at less than half the price.

Actually the old name of the 250cc of the Hyosung was Comet.

Later on the 250cc Vtwin platform got tweaks to get the new GT name.....the fairing shod bike is the GT250R and the naked one is GT250.

The Comet name is used no more officially.

I wish the GT250R to be brought to India, and I think not that it would share the exact same chassis or bodywork as that of the GT650R.

The GT650R chassis and mountings are heavier.

The GT250R design and dynamic set-up maybe similar to the 650R,but the difference between them becomes pronounced once some one rides them back to back.

The GT650R can be easily distinguished from the GT250R by the exhausts mounted on them respectively. Moreover the 250cc bikers would love to be confused having 650cc bikes at times
Even though the 650 is bulkier and significant body-works are broader than the 250 bike.

Even if the GT250R gets launched early next year, Garware would have a tough time keeping their 650 owners happy. They surely wont like a 250 at a cheap price with same body which would become common whereas we bikers would prefer otherwise

Time to ponder over a few things.
