      • Have u guys checked the saree guard of ninja 650r? Its huge. May be biggest in bikes available in india. Its so big i think later it can be used as Grill for windows or as grill of barbeque to roast chicken also.

The sound of inline 4 cyl bikes is a music to ears , hearing them it feel that money well spend.
As of now there are no I4 in the 600cc range being planned from any of the manufacturers. Say for example an I4 600cc (R6, CBR600RR etc) is launched by the end of this year are you ready to shell out 8-8.5lakh rupees for that? It won't be cheaper than that unless Yamaha launches XJ6 (Diversion), I'm ruling out the Suzuki Bandit 600

Even if bike companies launch 600cc supersports they wont be able to price them below 8lac and i think thats why ZX6r was not launched. And i believe that the reason of launching ninja 650r is not because its more suitable for indian condition then ZX6r. Its because it can be priced way less then ZX (which bajaj already have) and thus attracking more customers. See even my wife who has no idea about bikes after seeing ninja 650 in news was asking me how can they price it only 4.5 lac where ninja 250 is 3 lac?

i wonder why people always compare the ex-s price of 650r and on-road price of 250r....

Wow, someone is being very active on this thread, setting aside the usual riot control job ............I am expecting some new bike treat soon

Ninja 650R has been aptly priced and is ought to provide a formidable competition to the GT650R.
