On road price is Rs 5,00,200 Pune.
Only Green color is available and Green is smilar to Ninja 250r ( not a metallic green).

Excellent pricing strategy by Bajaj. This is going to be an excellent tourer and a whole lot of fun on the track too. Would love to buy this just for the touring comfort and keep the smaller sibling for the track.

From all the speculation going around, the R6 should be here soon.

But between the Hyosung and the Kawasaki, i would advise you to go for the Kawasaki. The kawa's have excellent attention to detail, quality of plastics etc is top notch, paint quality is brilliant and service back-up is nothing short of superb.

I doubt if Hyosung can match the Kawasaki's in the quality and service back-up area. Maintaining a hyosung might be a tad cheaper than the Kawa though.

Doesn't work this way Neil. Any change in price will be applied at the time of delivery. My 250R price went up by around 10k IIRC few weeks after booking the bike and i had to pay the final price which was applicable at the time of delivery.

It requires 91 Octane fuel (minimum). The 250R CR is 11.6:1 and recommended octane rating is 91 (also specified in the owners manual).

The brochure from Pro-Biking says this "Unleaded Petrol / RON 91 & Above" Exactly dunno what that means

that means it requires a minimum fuel quality of 91 octane...RON stands for Research Octane Number. The petrol thing is pretty irrelevant as unleaded is the only kind available nowdays

The "Vroom Vroom" you are looking for can only be heard from a Inline 4 Cylinder engine.

Even the parallel twin cylinders of the Ninja 250R doesn't provide that kind of "Vroom Vroom". The Ninja 650R is also a parallel twin cylinder model, but it has got a unique firing sequence for its two cylinders which gives it a "Throbbing" exhaust note.

If you are looking for a "Vroom Vroom" exhaust note, then you'll be dissappointed.

It is a twin cylinder bike so can't produce a four cylinder sound.

Dont worry too much on the technical jargon.

It means that you need to run the bike with a minimum of 91 octane fuel (premium fuels only).

i just checked the gurgaon showroom and price quoted was 4.11 ex-showroom, and around 4.5 on-road

Aargee, however you lok at it 1.7 L is a lot of money. You can buy a CBR for that sort of money. The N250 and the N650 appeal to different people.
