This way the same product line up could be followed and this way the pulsar line up will become even more established and all the confusions in people's mind would be gone and there by helping the brand (pulsar) to acquire a more stabilized image from the eyes of an average man as well as niche customers and also help pulsars not loose its resale value...its a bit of a crazy theory considering the fact that my knowledge regarding resale and all other related resale market stuff is limited...its just my opinion...

Yeah buddy, more CC pulsar's are coming. They are on their way to INDIAN roads. The spied picture will be 125Cc or maximum 150Cc. As discussed on past pages.
New pulsar's won't let you down Dman.!!!

    • i also have that hope that the pulsar wont let us down but...what if it is a pulsar 125..i don't think people might gonna accept it that much and is there a possibility of pulsar's image getting a dent...because there are numerous people for example like my elder brother who still can't accept the 135 as under the pulsar brand and says that with the new pulsars (135 ls) the brand has lost its shine and performance factor. My brother says p135 doesn't deserve to be categorized under pulsar... and according to him, the pulsars other than baby pulsar (150-220 cc)are the real machines and only ones which still seem to catch his interest...so my point is that most of the laymans (ordinary guy) who are looking on the pulsar with this way of thought won't be interested or would at least be less excited if the cubic capacities are gonna go down even further to a 125cc..they might not be interest even if it is the ktm based powerplant which could even put the so called 150s to shame on performance and still deliver shattering FE as well as more value for money and features and even if it gets more bells and whistles than any other in the market...on the other hand more people who wish to have a pulsar could at least be a part of the pulsar family or in other words a PULSARMANIAC...hmm anyway we can only wait and see the game from the gallery...no point in speculating wildly and wasting our energy i guess.... when it is the right time we'll know... so lets be patient bro and hope for the best...

Your brother probably falls into the category, who recognize pulsar with the big tank. But if you take performance, P135LS is at par with P150. DNA of pulsar is affordable performance, not the big tank.

Yes.. engine of 135 is better than 150
Although I also don't like the looks of 135 but I know its a great bike.

          • my brother likes the p135's engine, chassis, ease of handling(especially city traffic) overall light feel, and especially performance and feel...and agrees to the fact that it certainly has pulsar's core values of affordable performance and max fun. he only disagrees on the looks which according to him is lacks the usual macho and tough character of other pulsars and he says it looks similar to XCD (which he hated the most) and said it looked too plasticky and too skinny ,overall smooth feel of the mill because of vibes.(which he finds comparatively very less in 2011 p150)

                • my take: its a 125cc which may be bored out to a 135.. That means it would be the next gen p135ls. I wish it should be, because if the smallest sibling is this macho and feature rich, what about its elder brothers..? Wouldn't they be astounding..?? And, i bet rear discs will be featured in all the pulsars from 150cc to above. Even the p135 might have the chance to get one..

                    • 200cc. Why? P135 is still quiet new so Bajaj may want it to play along for some time. Where as p180 is quiet old and p200 no longer exist. Seems a perfect slot for new Pulsar to fit in.

                        • My take 125cc.

Since Duke 125 is not marketed here and if Bajaj wants the economies of scale it will definetly make sense to launch it in the form of P125. Also as every body has mentioned as it doesnt have rear disk it has to be of lower capacity which is less than 150cc. I feel this time around even 150cc will come with rear disk to differentiate from the competetion. Rememeber what Mr Rajeev Bajaj has said in the chat posted in this forum. "Lookforward for new features in the segment."

                          • the new pulsar will be a 150cc, IMO. it cant be lower than that. how will u convince the average indian consumer that a 125cc bike will be better than a 150cc (notwithstanding the technological upgrades)?

and rear disc brakes necessary for a 150cc bike? dont think so. at most, its just a cosmetic thing

                            • It is definitely 200 cc with KTM engine and Bajaj body parts etc. & KTM 200 alone would also come. Bajaj 200 still in developing stage.

If you mean same engine as used in Duke 200, unlikely. Sources says it will be SOHC with twin sparks. Duke 200 id DOHC with single spark. But my guess is 200cc, thats where we agree.
