Wow...thats a great news. So Bajaj is improving its skills on the design front by hiring engineers from motorrad and other european companies. Any news if Bajaj has hired/hirirng R&D engineers on the mechanical front? (engine/transmission/chasis...)Originally posted by nitrosatya View PostGot to meet the Bajaj designer at a program. At first glance he looks like Liam Neeson! He has worked with BMW Motorrad for 20 years! Such a great person!
Talking about the design of the Pulsar, he said that the rear two led strips and the front two pilot lights are the best features of the design. They give it the identity. Also he stressed on the muscular design of the bike. Also talked about the speed lines in a design.
So it would be right to assume these features in the new Pulsar.
On a different note, Bajaj is determined to be the best. They have got some of the best European designers for their two wheelers and four wheelers departments. Yes four wheelers!
Bajaj will have a car soon.

^Don't know anything about the engineers. I work in the design field. So only know about designers.
Some more info about the designer: Edgar Heinrich.

maybe i can answer your doubt. recently i got a rendered pic of the upcoming pulsie and seem to have had taken immense design cues from p135ls... much more like a matured p135ls design...though i can't be sure whether this is the final thing...it is a very low resolution pic & seem to have been rendered by guys @ bs motoring i guess, as the pic has their logo...has any one seen / gone through the aforementioned pic before...? and by the way if you guys need me to upload it for you please help me with the steps to upload as i am new to these things...thank youOriginally posted by vikhyath View PostIs it different from the P135 styling?Last edited by Dman; 12-19-2011, 04:19 PM.

you might be talking abt this following pic. personally, i feel this is quite representative of the upcoming pulsars. notic the rough sketch of the wheel design, which looks similar to what we've seen on the bikes in the spy shot. the tank extensions in the pic are massive too, like what we saw in the spy shot.Originally posted by Dman View Postmaybe i can answer your doubt. recently i got a rendered pic of the upcoming pulsie and seem to have had taken immense design cues from p135ls... much more like a matured p135ls design...though i can't be sure whether this is the final thing...it is a very low resolution pic & seem to have been rendered by guys @ bs motoring i guess, as the pic has their logo...has any one seen / gone through the aforementioned pic before...? and by the way if you guys need me to upload it for you please help me with the steps to upload as i am new to these things...thank you

Looks ok. This type of a sketch is done on a Wacom intuos or cintiq. The probability of any magazine team having a wacom is quite low. Might be genuine.Originally posted by blizviz View Postyou might be talking abt this following pic. personally, i feel this is quite representative of the upcoming pulsars. notic the rough sketch of the wheel design, which looks similar to what we've seen on the bikes in the spy shot. the tank extensions in the pic are massive too, like what we saw in the spy shot.

I'd rather agree to you on the latter part than the formal one. There is no doubt that Bajaj has certainly upgraded the biking era in India even though they manufacture small cc bikes but keeping Rajiv Bajaj's portfolio in mind,I think we cannot underestimate the definition of "Super Bikes" coming from him. C'mon he brought Ninja series on Indian roads and now soon will be the KTMOriginally posted by kaynmantis View PostComing from a person who has been churning only small capacity bikes, the definition of "Super Bikes" may somewhat be skewed. In this context, imagine Bajaj comes up with 1000cc bike, this guy will faint for loss of words.
New Pulsar, would most likely set a new benchmark in its category, my prediction is a 200cc(NOT duke engine). But describing a 200cc or less bike as "super bike"...gawd! that's stretching it.
. For sure, 150 to 200 cc bikes cant make a mark as SUPER BIKE but such statement from Rajiv Bajaj surely ignites an excitement amongst the bikers that the new pulsar ,once again agreeing to you, would most likely set a new benchmark in its category
and yeah it will be "DEFINITELY MALE"

yup exactly this is the one...and yes its a rough sketch and i agree there could have happened some deep insider job....though i am still doubtful on the psychic theory you pointed out hi hi...Originally posted by blizviz View Postyou might be talking abt this following pic. personally, i feel this is quite representative of the upcoming pulsars. notic the rough sketch of the wheel design, which looks similar to what we've seen on the bikes in the spy shot. the tank extensions in the pic are massive too, like what we saw in the spy shot.

All right, I run the risk for getting hammered for entertaining you. Take some time and study xBhp in its entirety in the future.Originally posted by Dman View Postthank you very much this will be of great help for me...appreciate the help my friend...

1. To start new thread. Open any section e.g. "News", In that page, there will be a button "New Thread".
2. At the bottom of this page there is a "Reply" button. This button will insert a fresh post.
3. You already know "Quote". To use multi quote, use the "+ button. E.g. You want to multi quote three posts use "+ for the first two and use "quote" for the third and final post.
Hope you use this instructions and post something related to this topic so I don't get in trouble
