design front was not that bad in the past with design jobs taken care by none other than the design guru himself Glen kyrr and on the R&D dept, who needs anyone else when they have already got the best hands in the country at their disposal - Mr.Joseph Abraham R&D head of bajaj auto the numero uno in india when it comes to R&D.Originally posted by s_hari View PostWow...thats a great news. now,going by the rendered picture posted in the previous page,so far if you compare it with the spy pics almost 85% of the rendering seem to be correct and if you look at the drawing carefully you guys might be able to see a beam frame like structure also being sketched does it point to a remote possibility that the upcoming pulsar could also have beam frames as it is unclear about the chassis on the mules and also what mainly fuels my thoughts on this is that, in the spy pics so far clicked the covering on the tank also seem to extent far from the tank and almost near to the cylinder heads almost to the rider's knee.Then again it could be my wild imaginations coming out due my excitement for the new pulsars. what do you say guys ?Last edited by Dman; 12-21-2011, 07:37 PM.

Today when i was going to have breakfast at a nearby hotel, a duke and pulsar went in my opposite direction towards chakan, where the bajaj plant is based. I went 100mtrs further and dropped my friend and took u turn and sped for them. They were already riding hard and were miles ahead. I was on a 4yr old p180. I was able to catch with them after 3kms at the chakan toll naka where my petrol got over. Luckily there was a pump and i refueled and chased them till a trafic jam where i was lined up side by side to the pulsar and duke behind me. Following points i noticed:-
# The console is a new design. A blue colored central dial with the rpm meter and numbers written in white. Speedo is digital on the right of dial. 2-3 small circular indicators above the speedo screen and 1 on the left side of dial.
# Although it was all masked up i could see some part of the colour and it was wine red just like the previous pulsars. Engine was black and the racing ktm logo was blackened too. Also the p135 grabrails were black.
# Exhaust was underbody. Opening is in between the right rider foot peg and the pillion footpeg and a little below. It was black colored and opening was small. Duke also had similar exhaust.
# Sound of the bike was very smooth and refined just like honda unicorn. On the other hand duke which was behind be sounded like a k&n'd bike.
# Low end pickup as very good. My p180 wasnt able to keep with it in the start even though i was ripping it.'00 Honda City Type II

let me say one thing first,oh man you are a badass pulsar maniac i guess...i love your spirit.i just want only want to know one thing ,did you manage to have a close look at the headlight fairing assembly shape and design when the pulsar parked near you at the traffic jam ?
