that is the most elegant, peaceful, inspiring and most patriotic ad i have ever seen...gotta hand it to you guys To be honest, GRz,you are the best and i am very proud and very much honored to see the best guys in the business join hands with pulsar on its 10th anniversary abbyz and all the rest of you guys, i got only one word to you guys..... AWWWWEEEESSSSOOOOMMMMEEEE.....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYZ...

I have a small question i don't know if i should ask this question to you guys. What do you think of the pulsar. i mean what is your frank opinion about the pulsar. What is it that made you choose the pulsar over every other similar options in the indian market? for example there is a bulky ug4 pulsar 180 dtsi and far more lighter and bit more powerful and compact apache RTR 180 (taken as an illustration)with better chassis and dynamics (as far as i have read in many mags and comparo reports) So technically should it make the apache RTR seem to be a better choice but still then why do more people go forward still preferring the age old p180/ any pulsar for that matter, when it comes to stunting ? And is there any remarkable difference in pulsar when it comes to stunting ? Did pulsar came to you for sponsoring you ? Did you guys choose the pulsar foreseeing the potential &and the relatively cheap spares and because you guys knew that you guys had found the best choice / did you choose it just to get sponsorship..?
i hope i have not disturbed your's or any one else's feelings or any of the other brands and their fans for that matter with my questions. If it has i want you guys to know that i am deeply sorry. I am asking you all this just because to know the real story behind how you forged your relationship in with the pulsar...and just to know your experience with pulsar so far? In hope of getting a reply signing off...
        thank you

Bajaj is promoting Stunting as a mantra of its own an no other brand in India have such a long history of stunting. First generation pulsars where 'pop-out of your hands' genre unlike the evenly spread power curve of p220. Now many have adapted FZ as a stunting tool?(thanks to its amazing dynamics.)

Bajaj cant anyway use anything related to track for promotion, and pulsar was never a bike for that.

          Thus came stun label.

I don't own a Pulsar but I can voice my personal opinion! I would ask - Why did you buy Levi's? Why not Wrangler? or Lee? or Pepe? None of them are bad, are they?

Then we have an image created by each brand. People buying Levi's will swear by the brand. Similarly Pulsars created a niche in the motorcycle market. Till then we were getting almost similar looking bikes/similar looking performances etc. And Bajaj kept up the quality, be it of the product or of the service.

As far sponsoring/stunting exercises are concerned, I have ZERO knowledge about what goes on in this scene.

Apart from this even if everyone coplaints about bajaj's parts quality & others , but it is not perfect in Hondas too like Old unicorn battery water leakages causing color changes to the chasis etc . Also when i went to book the CBR 250 i found too many features missing ( like the auto cancel turn indicators ) & still now the 220s has the best headlights in the common Indian bike scenario .

first of all thanks for your words of appreciation bro...do keep up the support for GRz and the stunting sport...now lets start answering your questions one by one...
to start off..we have tried almost all the motorcycles for stunting, and one of the prime reasons i can state for not using the RTR as you asked was due to the minimalistic dimensions of the bike...it may work as a track day machine, but stunters generally do not prefer RTR..the dramatic difference as for now is limited to that..and of course, there was the easier and cheaper spare availability of pulsar motorcycles all over..this is actually a very big factor when you start off with stunting...also, if we see the evolution of pulsars from the 'classic twins' right till the 'fastest indian', we can observe a clear passion for improvement and the desire to give us the best. And as far as the GRz-Pulsar association is concerned, well, it just happened and we both are very happy about it..Pulsar gives us the best bikes and we give them our best...i guess that's the best i can explain..and yes, we are planning on a long relationship with the Pulsar brand...
hope that all your questions have been answered bro

Talking about quality, I dnt know a single karizma owner here in my place without fibering their plastics. Thats the sole reason i dint buy it. Heard the same probs on Unicorns. ZMR's vibration is off this world. Certain guys have complaind about timing chain issues too often. My friend's CBR has been leaking oil for the past 1 month and still not resolved(only just 200+ on odo). I personally dint see the new lot CBR's which is said to be offering good quality. But recalls of the bike definitely says it had probs. Going to yammie, 2 years ago, I accedently dropped my friends R15 (very slow drop as i forgot to put side stand)and what i saw was fully cracked fairings. And p220, has vibratin issues, centre stand scrapping etc.
No offence to any owners of the above bikes. Some guys says bajaj lacks quality, but I personally think bajaj stands second in quality just below yamaha and the new pulsar and ktm launches wil make them first. Some smart treks says ktm is ktm not bajaj , but what i say is without bajaj those guys wont even have seen these kwackers and the coming soon ktm's on road. To those who dnt know, Ktm 200 is completely made at bajajs plant and quality is top notch. So stop shouting abt bajajs quality and look back at your bikes unless you own a yammie or superbikes.
Personally I hate bajaj and yamaha.
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Bt it does raise a voice against my call by showing its tail light... The typical pulsarian led tail light.

                      • @Ivin: +1. Even without Bajaj there wouldn't have been lower cc dukes for the world.

@Rakesh.M: These bikes come out of and go inside Bajaj Akurdi Factory everyday. So do you mean Bajaj is designing next FZ for Yamaha?

Don't take it personally. Just kidding.

Man,pulsars are way more comfortable than RTRs for taller people....
My friend, who is 6 ft height, and weight 90 kg,makes my RTR look like a 'Twister',when riding.... and he felt cramped as well(he hated the forward-lean sitting position of RTR)... so I advised him P180,now he is very happy n comfortable wid it...
and ye,pulsar-180 may not be fast or stunt friendly like RTRs,bt way more smoother and comfortable than RTRs in long distance.... every body dont like to Zip-Zap-Zoom...
And if P250 is launched,I will b one of the first one to book it...I would love both the RTR and P in my garage...
The only thing I ever hated in Pulsar was its stupid handling for such an awesum bike... hope things are taken care of,this time, and we get a perfect desi quarterlitre sports tourer...

Ahem..and I suppose you tested it. One can expect or rather hope that the KTM from Bajaj stable is as good as the one manufactured in Austria. But to state so-and-so with absolute authority before launch is fanboysm at its finest. Lets wait and see what Bajaj delivers.

i thought pulsars and RTRs were equally good when it came to touring. Many of my friends have RTRs with them and they used to tour much often with them. And even though there are some minor complaints like the aforementioned cramped situation.it can be adjusted to a level. any way both machines are equally good and a bit bad at one or two as far as things are concerned. After all they are just machines...
