    The order actually is:

    P220 Fi > R15 > RTR160Fi > RTR160(optional add-on) > RTR180 > P220 (non Fi) > ZMR > Dazzler > CBR250R > Hunk > CBZ 2011

AFAIK these are the only bikes made in India that come with rear discs.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

CBR added in 1st edit. CBZ on the 2nd. And this also explicitly proves that this is not the right time to start deleting Rear Disc from the feature list of a New Gen Pulsar. Not even the 150cc one. Just to save a 2-3 grand on the price tag.

          • I feel this is an upgrade to P135, or a new P150. With no rear disc brake, the engine can't be more than 150cc.

There might be another pulsar with bigger engine.

Bajaj said that it would be using KTM 'technology' in its new bike and not the KTM 'engine' totally. If Bajaj had put its R&D too in this bike then I doubt it would have only KTM logo on it. Even the test mule would have had Bajaj-KTM or only Bajaj logo.
Even I wondered, if it was pulsar, then why put KTM engine in it

              • While testing any new bike on the road first time, the manufacturer purposefully trying to put wrong body parts on the bike to confuse people..That is also happened here. Anyway the new bike has a monoshock, also the chances of liquid cooled engine.Other normal body parts are fake. wait and see the new generation pulsar
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

                    1. Considering that the launch will be happening at the Auto Expo 2012 which is only a month away Bajaj cannot be testing their bikes for the 'first' time.

                    2. What's the point in testing with wrong body parts ? That won't be the case too.
If they test with wrong body parts then that pretty much explains why the Pulsar 220's fairing and mirrors vibrate so much

                    • Disappointed with this outcome. Totally unexpected from Bajaj. By the looks of it, doesnt seem to be a >200cc motorcycle. I hope it's just not the only test mule variants Bajaj is testing. I expected a cracker from Bajaj, a 250cc. Had enough of 200/220ccs!!

I would like to differ... While testing company needs to understand how the bike fares in its stock condition.. handling, performance/trouble caused by body parts and engine... and the feedback is used for furhter improving/modifying the trouble areas.. also it is just my guess that by law company has to test a certain number of bikes for certain number of kilometers just to get it certified from ARAI for road use and to go into production. its not just about company, its also about compliance.. so this could be more of a end product.

No ...it's certainly 150-180cc Bike since Engine & tire size feels like 150cc+ bike..

                              • Engine block, front fender, alloy wheels are a straight life from the Duke. Comming to the looks of the bike, lets just hope Bajaj was just into testing something(dont even want to guess what it was) and pray this is not how the 2012 Pulsar would look like.
