Exactly the reason I'm saying they are afraid even now. TVS always waits for the balls to juggle. Only after things have settled they bring in their new thing. They play safe.Originally posted by payeng View PostTour De Thekkady

Except with the original apache, among all the pulsars and then with the rtr which was nothing short of breathtaking.Originally posted by harishkumarko View PostExactly the reason I'm saying they are afraid even now. +1 to that. I was totally awestruck when I saw the bike in flesh(the original apache). It stood apart in terms of looks. I've heard about the engine being good too. Never ridden one. The RTR had the right character for its name(Apache).Originally posted by julianpaul View PostExcept with the original apache, among all the pulsars and then with the rtr which was nothing short of breathtaking.

That loss is because of 110 rear tire.Originally posted by hayaz_xlr8z View Postthey had worked on it, reduced it, but sacrified on acceleration and lost the 'RTR'ness (that's what i felt while test riding a new 160). btw, i got the prev.hyperedge yesterday..
By the way are the new tires tubeless as 180 ?site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

Don't know if this is the right thread. But a very accurate source has indicated that TVS is developing a brand new 200~250cc apache. very very early stages though.
How do i know this? - Well they are currently developing an all new aluminium swingarm possibly with a monoshock. Why aluminium? for lesser flex and weight while cornering.
And what are the reference bikes? - CBR 250, KTM duke and the venerable R15v2.0.
All this says that the current facelift was to buy them some time.
cheers!R.I.P kriss.

If they actually pull it off and do get inspired by the list mentioned here , within a year at most . That would really be a quarter litre to look forward to .Originally posted by sai_ace View PostDon't know if this is the right thread. if i go by your words, then TVS gonna have a winner in their stable though we still don't know how true is this & how much time it'll take.Originally posted by sai_ace View PostDon't know if this is the right thread. I really do hope they decide to go back and give the old design a good look even if they decide to start all new from the ground up.There is still quite a bit left to be derived from that styling theme. That little panel on the side (which they've changed) looked like it had the potential to be the Apache's signature bit.
