      ummm... Bajaj has more than 40% stake in KTM now. It's almost a Bajaj company.
      XBHPians must understand this. KTM200 is for niche & P200 is for masses. KTM has dedicated PBK Service Centre whereas P200 has to jostle space with P220, 180, Platina, Discover etc.

          Correction: 47% of KTM is BAL owned.
          Advice is a form of nostalgia.
          Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                    P220F: makes 21 bhp, costs around 82-84k. both increase...
                    P200 NS: makes 23 bhp, costs around 94k. both increase...
                    Duke 200: makes 25 bhp, costs 1.25L. both increase...

                    It makes perfect sense!!! Increasing power and increasing cost. Four segments, four different power outputs and costs. Four different personalities. You still think they will cannibalize each other...?!

                      YES Samarth! Damn you! Can't you understand that we are CURSING Bajaj for launching 200 NS??

                      We are soooo pessimist that Bajaj launches a much better product at a BANG on price & we curse them for giving us a real upgrade!

                        In addition CBR is EFI, ABS, DOHC and 250cc sport tourer with proven technology. And the Honda name and exclusivity. So people who like it will pay the premium price.

                            @inflammable, you can put across your view point in a much better way, whatever you type in, please don't start name calling here! Unfortunately some people are so loyal to particular brand that you can't convince them to buy other brand even if outstanding product is launched at an astonishing price.

                            I'm sure with P200NS competition must be a worried lot, in fact they should be sweating at the prospect of full faired version of P200 coming in at 1 lakh ex-showrrom. If it comes in, R15/CBR150R will be hit the most & CBR250 to certain extent. Even this P200NS hits all the four bikes R15/CBR150/CBR250/Duke 200 to some extent. People with tight budgets might just think why not go for P200NS and buy decent gear for the remaining money?

                                People who will test ride the 200NS will be SHOCKED that bike invites you to ride it and fast.

                                Average speeds of Each P220 rider will go up by atleast 20KMPH. Bike is grossly deceptive. At 100KMPH you dont feel that there is an Engine between your legs. Intelligent people can understand this. You are FAST FAST FASTER on each and every single corner.. On Road.. Off Road. period.
