Bold above: So finally we have a perfection. Alok, what are you high on today?

    Really?
Now You know the numbers and math. Right.

And I wrote 6 Riders.. 5 Bikes. so 45000 is to be divided by 6 not 5.

Nope, I don't know the numbers.

Odometer is on the bikes and not on the riders. Hence, 45,000km's (not sure in how many days) is to be divided by 5 and not 6.

...just because you stay in Pune & Bajaj's plant is also based nearby, you shouldn't boast such things.... makes us jealous

            2. Yamaha/R15 lovers will anyday buy R15 !
            3. Honda lovers too may not switch over to P200NS just by seeing specs !

The real headache is for recent P220 buyers, they will curse Bajaj !

            Have browsed xBhp like mad.

Can't find an "authentic" Pulsar owner (leave aside P220 owners) who are "cursing" Bajaj for the NS

Well it is true as 5 bikes were delivered by Bajaj in Pune yesterday! Soon there will be more on Mumbai and Pune roads.

              • Having personally driven both the pulsar 200NS and the duke I feel what Raj says is true. Both are very very different beasts. The NS is more refined while the duke is savage. The duke will jump to its redline from the word go! While the pulsar's engine does the same it does show the refinement needed.

                          • I feel even if Bajaj has borrowed a lot from Kawasaki for their Pulsar or other engines, that's fine. The ultimate goal of a JV is to mature and start your own in house design and development. I am pretty much sure this very fact would also be factored in into the JV agreement. No company, well most companies evolve in a similar fashion. Even the ones which are very respected today.
Moving away from the automotive sector I can site examples of the Indian defense industry. The HAL, the DRDO for example. They have matured a lot today and have spewed out some very good platforms(read the dhruva, LCA, agni et al). But they all started off assembling Russian parts.

20 years from now, when Bajaj will have evolved a lot and would be offerring 1000 CCs indegenous from ground up, everybody will forget whatever inital tech was borrowed from the Japs in it's formative years(as a motorcycle company of course).

Btw I wonder when will Hero Moto corp learn to do the obvious.

                            • Let's try our best to keep this thread for Pulsar 200NS only. Hero has done the business in a different manner so far - unlike TVS and Bajaj, it is the only Indian company, in recent years, to have been in partnership with another motorcycle giant for manufacturing/selling motorcycles here. Now it is over and Hero will definitely adapt to a different business module....let's end it here in this thread please.

Is anyone aware of NS's price in Delhi?
