Bookings for 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R to open from 15th July

      Bombay closed, Delhi almost closed, Surat, Am'bad, Deradhun, Pune people have booked...Man when will they open booking in Bangalore!. Maybe i should book at Lajpat nagar and ride it down..will have the run and ride in done !

        Yeah, a countdown it is. I am hoping for an earlier delivery (a foolish hope most likely) - because 25 days from now, I won't be in town to take the delivery and will either ask a friend to pick up the bike or leave it waiting at the dealer till I get back (don't like both options )

                  This is because since yours is a confirmed booking from the alloted number to KTM Lajpat Nagar Store (Im assuming this is true), your deliveries have to happen before 15th September or else allotments will be shifted to others in the waiting queue.

                  And as far as I know despatches have already begun from Pune with KTM Lajpat being one of the first dealers in the country to get despatches. ( This I know cause my very close friend is in top position in KTM Lajpat).

                  You never know you might be one of the first ones in Delhi to get the hands on 2012 Ninja 650.

                        Accessories !

                        Have any of you guys who have already booked their Ninja 650 inquired about the accessories available with the bike ? Eg: rear seat cowl, paddock stand, etc. If yes then please share with the details and prices

                              Mumbai bookings closed ?!?!?!?!??!?!

                              I have been in contact with KTM South Mumbai/Bajaj Sai Service located at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai since 2 months. I have been in touch with them on a weekly basis, sometimes calling them twice or thrice a week.

                              I have told them I was keen on booking the Ninja 650 and the replies I have got from them are; the bike has not been launched, they have no information about when booking will begin etc.

                              Now, I've just read a comment where someone mentioned that bookings for Mumbai have closed!

                              This is so unprofessional on the part of Bajaj! I have even been in contact with the manager of KTM South Mumbai and he claims they have no information about the bike!

                              This is very disappointing, I'm totally put off by this!! :/

                              BTW I own a duke 200 purchased from KTM South Mumbai.

                                the only logic i can think of for this behaviour is the dealers after hearing of the "media launch" of the bike and the statement made by the AVP probiking must have assumed that the bookings will start soon enough so they started taking bookings beforehand and now since there have been no official word from bajaj as confirmed by many probiking dealers in south bombay, pune eetc. about it the so called open bookings have been closed by the rest of the dealers as well...
