      Spoke to the probiking folks at Mangalore. Launch date as per them is Aug 9th and on road price in Mangalore is approx 5.85 lakhs. Keeping fingers crossed!

        Dealer in Gurgaon (on MG road) says 9th aug is when booking will open and that is the only time they will be able to tell what the 'delivery policy' is.

        I am frustrated at why there is not enough attention by Bajaj on this. The least they can do is have an updated website which mentions these details. Why the hush hush?

          they are not paying attention as they are busy with the phased launch of Pulsar 200NS...

                I was in discussion to import an ER6N or the 2013 ER6F but the latter is not available yet and another 1.5 to 2 months of wait..cant take it anymore i wanna go riding now! my friends with a GT650N and an MT01 have ben riding almost every week last few months.. so will book the pocket rocket right away! what about you?

                  You waited soo long for N650 now when it is getting launched in 5 days and bookings will commence right after why cant you wait?

                    I want to wait for the ER - 6N but I somehow dont feel they'll be bringing that too. Have to wait and see, I will be visiting the showroom today, lets see what news they've got

                        Sachin wht i meant was before they announced the launch date I was considering the above mentioned options as i had run out of patience but now I will book through PBK.. in 4.5 days hopefully

                            Below is the message I received just now because I had enquired once about the bike ----

                            Good News, New Ninja 650R Bookings are expected to start from 10th Aug-12, Best Regards, KTM Showroom Kanjurmarg west 022-65972955-59.

                            On Call, associate said On Road Mumbai it is going to cost 5.63L and only Green color would be available. No confirmation provided on finance yet however finance options should be out soon. Display bike will come by 12th Aug

                                Yup the 650R's media launch is tomorrow.... just confirmed from the pune dealer but they still have no idea about the pricing... although according to them black colour will also be available this time....
