They didn't ride the Ninja 300. They rode the 250 2013. The 250 2013 and the 300 look alike. But the 300 is slightly more powered(about 6PS) and has features like slipper clutch. 250 2013 is being sold in developing countries(SE Asia, S America etc) and 300, mainly in the developed countries(USA, Aus etc).Originally posted by darkknight View Postwhat's the confusion?
sunny & sunil rode the existing 250,the new 300,the 1000sx version & the zx10r just to give perspective of the kawa line up in phillipines
what we are getting as in immediately will be the new 300 which will be seen on roads end of april to mid may.
The plans for India haven't been revealed yet. That's why I'm curious...

If the 300 isn't launched, I would be greatly disappointed. Not what I would expect from Kawasaki.Originally posted by mansuryayas View PostI don't think so the 300 will be launched in India anytime soon, what will be launched will be the new 250 only, else why wouldn't Kawa provide them with the 300 ???2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300

So what do you expect, Kawa launch their entire range in India, that is not going to happen. Companies are going to be selective in what they bring to India, we like it or notOriginally posted by Ezilkannan View PostIf the 300 isn't launched, I would be greatly disappointed. Indian market is very price sensitive market, if Kawa-Bajaj will bring N300 here then it will be priced much higher than current N250R so I guess in India we will see new N250R only, also AFAIK Bajaj already said that new Ninja will be priced almost as much as current Ninja so that should clear all confusions as we must not expect a Ninja300R at that price, that would be day dreaming as of now!!Suzuki Gixxer - Current
Karizma ZMR <3 - Sold
Apache RTR160 - Sold
Honda Stunner - Sold
LML Energy - Sold

I don't expect the 300 to be priced at the same rate as the 250, (there would be atleast 50k difference or more). I just have a feeling that the gap between a 250 and 650 is simply too big and an intermediate between the two would be better for the customers. Because the competition is heating up in the 250-600 cc category (read Duke 390, Pulsar 375/350, Mojo ???). If Kawasaki are going to choose to stay out of the race like Yamaha , then so be it. I would just be disappointed that a bike like the N300 couldn't come to India.Originally posted by 111diablo111 View PostIndian market is very price sensitive market, if Kawa-Bajaj will bring N300 here then it will be priced much higher than current N250R so I guess in India we will see new N250R only, also AFAIK Bajaj already said that new Ninja will be priced almost as much as current Ninja so that should clear all confusions as we must not expect a Ninja300R at that price, that would be day dreaming as of now!!2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300

Bajaj should bring 300 here. The current buyers of Ninja are buying it because it is a Ninja. They'd buy it even if it's priced 50K more. In fact, when they're already paying that much, they'd be happy to pay a bit more and get the best one, rather than spending 3L and ending up with the inferior version. That's what I'd do anyway(If I get some cash out of nowhere i.e
). Others will end up buying a ceeber as usual. However, I feel Bajaj'll do what diablo said.

Definately the 300
Bajaj will bring the Ninja 300 by early April. Expect bookings to commence by mid March. Pricing would be simewhat similar ti current N 250. Not much higher. AFAIK Bajaj has setup an assembly line for Ninja in their Chakan plant so that will help in lowering costs significantly.Originally posted by 111diablo111 View PostIndian market is very price sensitive market, if Kawa-Bajaj will bring N300 here then it will be priced much higher than current N250R so I guess in India we will see new N250R only, also AFAIK Bajaj already said that new Ninja will be priced almost as much as current Ninja so that should clear all confusions as we must not expect a Ninja300R at that price, that would be day dreaming as of now!!
