Still better than RE, where people are waiting for more than a yr for just a bike which is still not perfect one! And Ninja is anytime heavens ahead in features/tech...etc so waiting 4 months is reasonable.

    • Any news as to whether they are bringing in ABS for the Ninja? If not, I'm going to have to look elsewhere

      • had been to the pbk and enquired about the ninja300 and the guy told me, 10th they are launching as already announced and delivery will start by month end.
Price is expected to be 3.6 for non ABS
and 3.9 for ABS version.I asked him twice and he said this will be the price!
and they are getting green/black combo and white.

This is great news and by the green black combo do you mean that special edition color scheme? I would be so delighted

Would that be the ex-showroom price or OTR? And delivery by month end!!!

Only 30K extra for ABS would make it the obvious choice, at least for me ...

Wait just a little bit more all the speculations will come to an end.

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  THE END

                  • He said the last N250 they sold was for 3.32.. and this would be 3.8-3.9... so it must be OTR which he meant.not too sure on this!

                    • heard that ktm 390 would be around 2.2 - 2.5 lk,,i guess its a better option in terms of power and value for money unless u are crazy for fully faired bikes...

I'd prefer the Ninja 300 over ktm for its legendary trait, more features like Assist-Slipper Clutch and then there's always that fairing and windshield for high speed cruising. The 390 on the other hand is basically the same duke 200 with just the engine changed and ABS included.

Both bikes fall under different categories and I guess the debate of which bike is VFM will keep going on and on much like the N250 vs CBR250...

To quote bluevolt "The discussion can go on forever, so let's leave this where it is. Different strokes for different folks, I'd say. "

                          • If I had an option, I would buy both . They are totally different bikes, totally different characters. I would use the 390 strictly for city rides and the Ninja for highway.

                            • Any idea when the 2013 Ninja 250R will make it to showrooms? Though the 300 will be good and have some extra juice I still desire the 250R for its cult status and well renowned engine.
