Like some one else said, I think it is either the NS with FI or the same air cooled 180 on the NS frame(maybe with an oil cooler). And the other major possibility is the P375 since the tyres are or look bigger. Guys please be realistic. None of our Indian manufacturers will make a new engine so easily. They always adopt an existing engine which is subject to minor changes Eg. 200NS, Karizmas, Apaches. I am still guessing it is a NS with FI because bajaj had announced something like that a while ago.

it's going to be P180.

rajiv bajaj spoke of the 2 upcoming pulsar launches as "one >> 200ns" i.e P375 and the other just lower than 200NS. that can only be P180NS.

while the other news agencies claiming that it is the new pulsar 180ns, but we are quite much sure that the bike in the pictures is the abs and fuel injection version of the existing pulsar 200ns. there are many reasons, which hints that the test mule is pulsar 200ns instead of 180ns. The test bike is looking exactly similar to 200ns including the tyre size, which differs in the pulsar range. It has rear disk brake, which might not come with the 180cc pulsar. The engine is also looking similar to the liquid cooled power mill used in 200ns.

apart from these visual proofs, what gives more support to our claim is hints from bajaj officials on various occasion to launch an abs version of the bike along with fi technology. The company also announced to launch 2 new pulsars in the current fiscal year, which will include pulsar 375 and a smaller pulsar, might be next gen pulsar 150. While the 200 ns will be the icing on the cake.

the bike is expected to launch in the current fiscal year with a price tag of rs. 1.10 lakh, around rs. 20,000 higher than the standard version. Where the abs will increase the safety in the bike, fi will improve the performance and fuel economy.

Interesting observation this. But if they do it, the Duke 200 sales will probably become zero! Equipping the Duke 200 with ABS is not an option either since it'll have to be priced too close to the Duke 390.

What worries me is the fact that there's no mention of the 200SS anywhere
