Re: Bajaj Auto plans 6 Discovers, 2 Pulsars for 2014: xBhp News
this is strange....on some models hero is adding tank shrouds and on some they are removing it. In fact xtreme started its life with this same tank and then hero added tank scoops/shrouds, now they have removed it again. This is not cool at all.Originally posted by Satyamzma View Postsigpic

Also they launched new Xtreme
Hero Xtreme, New Xtreme, Price and Specifications - Hero MotoCorp Ltd.
Even now, it's as good as discontinued, many dealers don't have this bike in showroom.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Re: Bajaj Auto plans 6 Discovers, 2 Pulsars for 2014: xBhp News
Guys, the Discover 150F may be up for a launch soon, probably some day in the coming August.
It is targeting a young group of commuters, who'd most probably go for Honda Stunner 125. Expect a Half fairing that has a far-resemblance to the older Karizma.

Half fairing is really a good way to add to looks, for air cooled engines, as technically half fairing doesn't pose a problem to engine cooling.
The previous Discover 150 engine was reported to be really good, in terms of mileage, which was around 60-70 kmpl when ridden sanely. So, for a commuter it is actually a good proposition if the price is good enough.
It should also provide a well handling ride thanks to the Monoshock suspension. The name inspired Disc-cover
will make a return. Expect new Y-shaped alloy wheels, commuterish handlebars, and more comfortable rear seat.

Well... according to some journalists at BI, the Discover 150 returns 60 kmpl in city and 72 on highway conditions. But again, no big deal. I have myself achieved 56 kmpl on Pulsar 180, but that was by constant riding at 55 kmph only, highway like conditions. And, Discover is anyways anyways tuned for mileage only.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Post70 kmpl.....??? Are you serious...???

Of course, case to case difference is always there, so why your friend's Discover 125 returns less mileage, can't be said exactly.---

Only journalists can extract those extra ordinary figures. I remember zigwheels quoted that fz16 gave 60kmpl overall mileage and 66 on highway which is pure bakwaas. I am not against fz16, infact I am a big fan of it but dont know why these so called journalists misguide aam junta.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostWell... according to some journalists at BI, the Discover 150 returns 60 kmpl in city and 72 on highway conditions. Fz s giving mileage of 60kmp/l that's crazy even if you ride the bike in economy zone still you won't be able to get the mileage figure over 50km/l , only if you live on a hill cliff you can get this 60km/l mileage.
