re: Hero 250 caught testing: xBhp News
even i noticed all these changes and i feel may be they are just testing these bikes with different set of tires, handle bars, drum and disk brakes so that they can decide if there is any possibility of launching it with different features for different customers....Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Postsigpic

Hmmm, thats a good recipe tooOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View PostMy speculations (if its a 250cc)
250cc - 27.5 hp @8k RPM, maybe ~24 Nm torque @ 7k RPM, 100 mm front tire, 120 mm rear tire, 155 kg kerb weight (I see some redesign of plastic), 55w halogen HL.

I am 90% sure it is the same old 223cc karizma ZMR with some tweaks in design and performance department...sigpic

re: Hero 250 caught testing: xBhp News
Even with the camouflage the bike looks highly disproportionate because of the unnecessary raised rear section. Karizma and ZMR is currently the aam junta sportbike who also looks in to the practicality aspect and it seems the practicality quotient goes out of the window with these two bikesOriginally posted by Naveen1985 View Post2 clear clear spy shots....

You seems to be bang on and speak like a company executive? So one is Karizma and other is ZMR. Sounds logicalOriginally posted by veryhiphop View PostWhat if these are upgrade (Exterior wise) of Karizma and ZMR...with same engine as of now...
and later on in 2014 new bikes....
BTW..the second bike without a rear have a different and new pattern on rear tyre...Last edited by MG; 07-18-2013, 06:31 PM.

I don't think they will give full fairing to both karizma and karizma zmr....sigpic

Seeing the same zmr shock absorber its most likely to have the same 223cc engine. Hero is trying to get into the fully faired segment with new body.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View PostI am 90% sure it is the same old 223cc karizma ZMR with some tweaks in design and performance department...

You'd also notice that the exhaust on the bikes are different. The design of the exhaust on the left bike resembles the ZMA's pattern (shiny and flat face with bolt/screw patterns) while the one on the right sports the exhaust from the ZMR (matte and slightly bent pipe).Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostThey are gonna bring in 2 different variants
if you check the 2 bikes standing there.. one has rear disc brakes and the other doesnt... also note the handlebars
one is more sporty and the other one is more relaxed.. in the sense one has a smaller 2 piece like in CBR and the other has a bigger one like in ZMR
Looking at the exhausts, that's what I am beginning to feel too! A 'sportier' ZMR and a redesigned ZMA...Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostWhat if these are upgrade (Exterior wise) of Karizma and ZMR...with same engine as of now...Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostNot only that, in the pic u quoted, the bike with rear disc has P220 rear tire. Not sure if its a 130 (not likely), but its at least 120 profile. Also, from the angle this pic is taken the other bike (without reear disc) seems to have a monoshock! ????
I think monoshock absent in both bikes, check the below images I can see something red in both.

Can't tell that for sure as the second bike has a HELMET kept on top of the tank and in front of the handlebar. So its not conclusive.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostIts a new set of clip-on handle..not of ZMR...second bike do have ZMR clip-on handle
