Oh.. Ok.. not that says it.. Pulsar 135, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, Pulsar 200, Pulsar 200NS, Pulsar 220 dts-fi, Pulsar 220 dtsi and more coming up.. then the Discover 100, Discover 110, Discover 125, Discover 135, Discover 150.. oh yeah.. there are more pulsars and Discovers coming up.. then we have the TVS Apache.. Apache 160, 160-fi, 180 and more coming up.. so when the other brands can name their bikes in the same series.. why can't Hero not do it?? Honda.. Dream yoga, Dream Neo and I guess one more with the same name.. don't remember..

Ok.. the topic seems to go wayyy off topic.. now guys.. those who hate Hero.. chillax.. there is no competition here to prove that the Hero Bikes suck and others are great.. lets just wait till the launch it or till we get more updates.. what is the point in fighting over it??

if you don't like the bike.. don't go for it.. instead of criticizing or commenting.. after all they are trying their best.. but if Bajaj does the same.. they are Indian brand and lets support.. lol

Just upgrades for Karizma and ZMR. My gut feeling says same engines (there might be/might not be tweaks to engine). If it is possible, EBR might have tweaked the 223cc Honda mill (I don't know if its possible).

The Karizma still has some decent sales. With contemporary styling, it might attract more customers.

Looking at the pictures, it seems the ZMA upgrade has raised handle bars and relaxed seating position, and the ZMR has lower handle bars with sporty riding position.

No FI for Karizma. If Karizma gets FI, there is no point in two bikes with same engine, frame, and features.

It may not even get a rear disc, tubeless tires and your expecting Fi !!!

Well we know that contract will expire on 2014 with honda rite? So I guess this must must be the honda-tech engine. And hero is again entering the market using these. It was rumored that Honda's 250cc mill was the one hero was developing on. I guess its this one.
And I don't like these two bikes mostly cause most of the parts are derived from existing models. Similar to pulsar series.
So people waiting for raw ebr tech to come into the market will have to wait till 2014. I guess those may be more than 300cc cause ebr has reputation in higher cc bikes. I may be wrong though.

But with ebr coming into picture am sure the technology and power offered by those bikes would be totally incomparable with the existing bikes in hero's stable. I hope ebr has no hand in these two bikes. Cause they look basic when compared to others.

I kinda have a feeling that the design of the fairing for these 2 bikes are designed by EBR.. it looks like the fairing design might have been derived from the EBR 1190RS.. just a wild guess...

so this might be just a new design and probably a little tweak to the engine to produce a little more power than the current karizma series.. we can expect some 19bhp power atleast (my opinion)

Just like how the R15 V2 was redesigned..

How can we say its 250cc. It might be replacement of hunk. As there is hardly any hunk avail in hero showroom. Even i cross checked with khanna showroom here on delhi. They also said hunk is discont.

I Have a feeling that there will be some modifications with karizma-R and ZMR, supporting the new engine of honda i.e the CBR250
Engine and having cosmetic changes. Karizma-r will get the fi of ZMR and ZMR will get the CBR engine.
Just a wild guess and i may be wrong also..
But as per me it will be showcased only in the 2014 auto expo and not before that.

For the EBR part we will have to wait till the festival season of 2014.

I hope for Hero's sake that it is a modern powerfull 250cc that they are bringing or a really classy and standout 150cc. Otherwise with all the competition from Honda, Bajaj and KTM they are in big trouble. You can only do sticker jobs for so long and honestly I am tired of the splendour looka-likes. (The last part is my perception and not too offend anybody. peace )
