Well if thats circus to you, what would you call it if you get a chance to be a pillion on an R1 or any other 'sports bike' ??

on topic: The spied one look highly dis-proportionate whatever cc may it be, and it could be categorized as a desi sports bike,( if you know what I mean)

Understood what you exactly meant but what can we say about the P375 spy pics

I dont know exactly what to say. It has a full fairing, LC engine, split seats, perimeter frame, all good for a sports bike, but what are the handles doing so high ?
It could be a sports tourer, but according to Bajaj's weird positioning this spied bike could be a super super sports sports bike

Those bikes are hardly meant for pillion comfort.

God help Hero and long live the Karizma! Its unbelievable that even after a decade, the company cannot best one of its iconic bikes. Coming from someone who has owned the v1 Karizma for nearly a decade now. The company had its time to properly upgrade this best selling bike but looks it really went in overkill and is now axing its own feet! From a time when it was a chartbuster and could have topped it too, Hero's interest in the bike simply waned and the ZMR was a classic result of the giant doing the follow up thing!

What a proper 'Karizma' should have got eons ago: USD forks, thicker 17" rubber, a proper 250cc FI Engine, little more bhp, Mono shock, Clip ons etc, and all they gave us new sticker jobs. This new upgrade is such a waste, why dont you stop making the bike already? Such a shame and feel sorry for the Karizma and now really feel like selling off mine!

The boffins at Hero really seem to have gone bonkers now and people hate the Karizma now. The resale is definitely going to take a beating and god knows what they are are thinking that this can survive. At 90k who is going to buy this when there are many better options like the CBR,NS etc.

Go in a parking lot where we use to park our bikes and 80% of the bikes what you gonna find there are below 200CC so its senseless to expect a bigger cc bike from hero. if they wants to keep them self in the market they have to be more concerned with the bikes what rules the roads a bike what every one can own & i think they are.

                    Point to be accepted..

Not everyone can afford costly bikes and thats why many settle down with sub 200cc category bikes.. and by adding a couple of 1000s more to the budget.. they can get a 220-223cc bike which is again not too costly..

They are definitely gonna bring in a 250cc + in 2014..

now Haters.. don't say 250cc isn't upto your expectations.. because you are not the one they are targeting.. besides.. what does Yamaha have for India till now?? just a 150cc and isn't R15 doing good enough?? likewise there are people who don't have the budget to get a costly Full Faired bikes..

So the new 250cc will give competition to the Yamaha's R25 and the CBR250.. and they are going to bring out above 250cc by the end of 2014 which is going to take on the other beasts in India..

you might say, A person would rather go for Duke 390 by shedding out some more money.. but not everyone has that sort of money.. Atleast I don't and many like me are there and they would settle down with what is best under their budget...

aah.. there is P375 which is going to be less than the D390.. but don't forget.. Bajaj isn't everyone's favourite and I kinda have a feeling that the bike is going to be heavy and I am not (in My Opinion) going to shed out 1.5L on Bajaj... Many across India think the same way I do..

what I am trying to say is.. lets not compare a 2L 390cc bike with a 1.5L 250cc bike.. People still prefer to Honda CBR250 over the D390..

                      So is R15.....
For pilloin comfort, you need to go for ZMR, to ride alone, you get the scooped bike. Simple.
I dont think ZMR is going to be discontinued. Its still selling more than ZMA.
And why would anybody Modify the Street fighter Hunk into Sports tourer( as in pic). That would be impractical. It surely is the ZMA in to options. One would be priced, same as ZMA, and other 5-6K premium to Fill the (15K) void between ZMA and ZMR.

As I told before, these two bikes that you see in the spy pics might be upgrades for ZMA and ZMR. There won't be any bike betwen ZMA and ZMR. Use logic, both ZMA and ZMR have same engines, and how can there will be another model between ZMA and ZMR? The fully-faired biked with rear disc appeared in the first set of spy pics is an upgrade for ZMR. And the half-faired bike with a lady rider on it is an upgrade for ZMA; you can clearly see the ZMA engine and the exhaust.

Yes.. but what he means to say is that they won't discontinue the ZMR/ZMA..

I feel that the ZMA/ZMR would sell along side the facelifted bikes.. we are not sure of the names yet.. so I don't wanna say they are ZMR/ZMA The same way they have named Passion and Splendor though they have the same engine

Might be possible, but in my opinion, these bikes would replace ZMA/ZMR. The new bikes would eat into sales of ZMA/ZMR (if they keep the old bikes). Only a few would buy ZMA/ZMR who are bothered about pillion. Maintaining production of a bike which as least sales volume is difficult for any manufacturer. But, lets see what Hero does here.

Yup, I agree. This might be the case, but I still dont understand, why would you replace a model(ZMR), that is picking up sales.... And modding it, would increase the cost of the already expensive bike. Any ways, according to me, two variants of ZMA would be really welcomed. One with no rear disk and tubed tires, half fairing, costing same as ZMA. Other with both disk, tubeless tires, Full fairing, costing 5-6 K more than ZMA. All I am interested in, is a tradion breaking design from Hero, which would affect its future bigger bikes.
