re: Hero 250 caught testing: xBhp News
Initially whrn the pics were revealed it was considered or rather assumed to be a 250cc bike.. only after getting the second set f pics it appeared to be the facelifted karizma and zmr under test.. again. We dont know what is under the covers of HMC.. we have to wait and see.. time can only tell.. lets wait for more imfo before commenting :-)Originally posted by mid View PostThread title is too misleading!

re: Hero 250 caught testing: xBhp News
people including me used to love HERO HONDA because of the honda engines,so only after 2014 we can get a clear picture(remember TVS fiero)..Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostPoint to be accepted..
you might say, A person would rather go for Duke 390 by shedding out some more money.. but not everyone has that sort of money.. Atleast I don't and many like me are there and they would settle down with what is best under their budget...
aah.. there is P375 which is going to be less than the D390.. but don't forget.. Bajaj isn't everyone's favourite and I kinda have a feeling that the bike is going to be heavy and I am not (in My Opinion) going to shed out 1.5L on Bajaj... Many across India think the same way I do..
what I am trying to say is.. lets not compare a 2L 390cc bike with a 1.5L 250cc bike..
People still prefer to Honda CBR250 over the D390..
btw hero cant use the current ZMA\ZMR engine beyond 2014 so why would they bring a new bike just for a matter of one year, dosnt make sense to me or it may be their own new engine

re: Hero 250 caught testing: xBhp News
Guys I have a silly doubt, hero doesn't get engines from honda, they just get the design from honda and manufacture them at their own plant. So if they make just few changes to internals will it still be considered as a honda engine or can hero register them as newly developed engine and continue using them?Biker @ heart

We wont complain, if they upgrade to a new gen engine, with better performance. Just hoping, it would be as reliable as the current ones.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostGood news.. but why replace zmr engine when it is doing good already?? Pretty fast? I wouldn't say so bro. They took their time. Hell lot of time. Who knows since when they started their research?Originally posted by ryan.virgo View PostThey did the RnD pretty fast, I guess its an overbore on the existing 223cc.
