A dear friend Nitin (L.P) got his RC390 yesterday. Rode it, damn its awesome!!!! The stance might take some time to get accustomed to. But its a total fun bike.

Got the delivery at around 12 PM
First impression after initial ride was "i need wrist support which i use in gym" 😊
Hmmm what to say about this beast
1. Its a looker 90 percent people had turned their head atleast twice towards it
2. Power& ABS - hell yeah full of raw power being karizma R owner which is mere 17 bhp using beast is thrilling
ABS saved ma life within half hour after i got ma beast, one stupid swift owner came from no where in high speed when i was doing 65 in normal city roads i applied urgent breaks thought ma first day i am surely gonna meet the accident but ABS stopped it way behind the swift with no slips
3. Yeas its difficult on your wrist; but hey 200 km in 3 hours any normal bike will also pain for your wrist but its lil on higher side specially if you have pillion which is newbie and dont have any idea about whats da proper position for seating; yes 200 km with pillion of wight around 70 Kg, on highway to lonavala.
4. If you have gf or wife then i will suggest you ride them as pillion on your risk 😜
Ma GF already warned me that no other girl will seat as pillion than me.
5. Fuel efficiency- Not a concern when i booked 44 bhp KTM as i an used to 27-32 kmpl with ma 17 bhp karizma r
Was expecting around 20 kmpl
But surprised as it gave me 24-27 in city condition and 29-35 on highway with max speed of 110
6.It feels as proper entry level sports bike
7. The only made in India bike which can reach 175 true speed
8.No back pain after more than 200 KMs in 3 hours but wrist are lil paining btw not used any riding gears as it was sudden plan ti Lonavala
The other downside is Heat
twice it shown me heat coolant signal after reaching high temperature of engine
9.Be prepared for facing n no. of question from people the most common which brand , price, top speed but for a change no one asked me Kitna Deti Hai
10. So the final and most important Q is Am i happy with my decision to buy a new entrant without any TD
then ma answer is
Hell yeah
Looks ; Power ; Feature ; Price ; everything is in its favour

Congrats for your beast!! Even I feel that wrists do come under strain. I generally keep moving my grip every 5-10 mins to relieve the wrists. That's for city + some open road though, hard riding will be different altogether. The other thing I observed is that with a ~90kg pillion, suspension sinks enough to reduce the lean angle considerably. It kind of makes riding easier with pillion then.

As for the heating issue, I have ridden in traffic with speed less than 30 for good 15-20 mins and though fan kicks in, the temperature never gets too hot. And this being in ambient temperature of around 30C. Not sure of the conditions where you experienced high temperature warning.

Guys just saw a post on FB in one of the RC 390 communities which said " Karnataka's first Rc 390 ", does this mean deliveries have commenced in karnataka ?

Hmm yes it was hot sunny day in Mumbai
When i was on my way to Lonavala in evening it was still at higher side but manageable
But i am loving every single min on ma beast
And its fun to ride with your loving one
I guess touring will not be problem on it except wrist and yeah how can i forget have to gel up ma seat; its stiff my a** was hurting like hell same case with my friend who was pillion; as he was complaining the same so we had to stop frequently; for precise 2 times
