And yes, ABS is definitely welcome.
Yes but don't you think it carries excess weight especially when compared to RC 200, R15, etc

May be they meant speed in terms of First 10 seconds

That's why we have different bikes in every segment. Customer wins!
He wants a lighter bike. He buys the RC. He wants a bike with a bigger tank and relaxed stance, he gets the Pulsar!

Yes that's true. Indian 2-wheeler market is at it's booming pace for consumers. There is something for every one. From 110cc to 390cc. Any way, my comment on weight was for a specific reason. If you see all previous models of Pulsars, for me they all carried a bit extra weight. 220 more than 150kgs, NS 145 Kgs & so on. What I feel is Bajaj should try to reduce the weight in future which would have serious upward effect of performance.
Just imagine NS with weight of 135 to 140 Kgs, 220 with 145-150 kgs & now RS with 155-160 kgs I am sure its possible to achieve that. Hopefully they will manage to do it in future models.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Launched @ Rs 1.18 Lakhs

I also feel that design is overdone and too busy witth too many graphics and just too much of everything.

Apart from that the height of headlamp fairing and handlebar height looks odd. Handlebar seems jutting out of fairing and fairing seems to be dropping too low...in comparison to each other.

Another thing is its weight, but to reduce weight u need to use some costly materials like duke/RC which would have increased the cost of bike further and also the amount of plastic used in fairing also contributes to weight and clearly bajaj wanted to make it look BIG...hence the weight.
Clearly they could have done better with the 'looks' part.... However whenever RS400 is gonna come i am gonna buy it, coz it offers affordable performance... And probably gonna replace the clip-ons with some custom made ones for lesser handlebar height.
Doga : although i agree with you, the bike looks better from this angle-

Can any one confirm whether we can Install ABS system of RS on NS? I really don't care much of RS apart from the fact that it comes with ABS I envy every bike with ABS

Good to see an indian manufacturer making bikes like these, though i feel they have maybe delayed it a bit .
Looks are subjective and i think this will be a head turner once it is on the streets but looks too bulky for a 200 cc bike also really keen to see how the Fi system performs and whether the bajaj mechanics are trained properly to handle these bikes,we all know how PBK handled 220 FI

Prince, agreed. But we both know the design is a disaster. And lets be honest, you would always find some angles which are good. Also any bike grows on you with time, so the owners are not going to complain anyway. I was not smitten by the Duke's design and wanted to buy the CBR but now I find the duke more attractive
But the duke's design has a philosophy(minimalism and sharp cuts etc). The 200NS looks good, the RS comes nowhere close. It looks and is porky.
Anyways!! so much for looks from someone who is not even average looking!!

Pulsar RS200 has gone too far in designing aspect. For someone like me who prefers engine power more than cutting edge design, this will bike would be always a second choice. I appreciate the hard work by Bajaj.
But why only 2500 units available per month.

Are they going the same way as Xiaomi and OPO. Stand in line and wait to be lucky enough.

One more thing I heard from a sales Executive at the launch event that it requires 1.5Ltr of petrol inside to start or else it won't. I asked him for clarification and he said it's like that. Strange!! 😑😑

The front of the bike seems to inspired by transformers. Very nice. Projector lamps as eyes, DRL as eyebrows. On the side there is too much of overhang of arrow shape. I would prefer somewhat neat look of KTM RC 200. However should give credit to designers. Eagerly awaiting for a first ride experience & of course a RC 200 comparison shootout.
