        The bike surely looks better than before except for the tiny fairing, Yamaha should have done one more thing i.e. they should have powder coated the alloys instead of cheap looking metal paint.
        The meter console also looks better as it does not looks tacky any more.
        Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

            i visited the showroom today and saw fz-s .they have already done delivery of 4 fz-s .so it is in showroom and deliveries have started.

                    The yellow stripes on wheel looks hot !!! It will be easy to convert FZ16 owner's bike into FZ-S if they like it.

                          I kinda like the fly screenish visor on the FZ-S. IMO, it does look better than the FZ-16 while adding that 'lil bit of exclusivity

                          And kudos to Yamaha for not sitting on their asses with all the sales they've been getting. They wanna step on the competitors' throats when they've got em pinned !!

                          P.S : Any ideas as to a new front number plate position..?
                          Or is the plate gonna piggy-back on the visor now..?

                            The new Yamaha FZ-S looks better and good that Yamaha ppl r thinking ahead for their bikes out here in India.... Its a good sign and m very happy about it...hope to see more coming in Yamaha's den soon

                              exactly what i was thinking... drill a hole on the fly screen and stick it up there... i mean who cares about Aeros on a 160 commuter right!!!

                                As for the rest, i do agree !

                                Im guessing the front plate piggybacks on the visor just like the R15. Hope a white-red FZ is in the offing.
                                It'll look ravishing in that combo. IIRC, id : farfromnormal owns an FZ6 in that very colour combination..
