If the quality was that crappy as it is made out to be, they wouldn't have sold those many bikes in the first place.

You have to ride the Continental GT more like a racer with that handle bar and foot peg setup, not a relaxed commuter in my opinion. And although not as costly as T100 it is still priced on the wrong side of 1 lakh (sorry I am so cheap...I know). Anywho coming back to V15 my point is anyway Bajaj decided to do a retro-styled commuter, why not style it properly retro instead trying to mix a lot of things together. I guess for any manufacture to do that it would take some guts. For example if you use spoke wheels instead of alloys or didn't use that bikini fairing, they are afraid people wont buy it because alloys and bikini fairing are what makes a commuter premium nowadays. So they just put it in so that more tick marks appear in the brochure?

Theres no denying the fact that RE all these years enjoyed no competition and people had no choice but to go for it,, no matter what shit engine they threw at the public..

Its not going to be smooth ride ahead going forward with "Renegade" and other bike manufactures entering the market there fun days may not last for long..

I am not willing to start a keyboard war here. But, understand the amount of engineering it has gone through the years, it not just an s**t engine my friend, in that case, all mass production company throws your so called engine and people do still fall for it.

Any single cylinder with a longer stroke is bound to vibrate at certain rpms, even KTM 690 vibrates. Few people do like it, else, it would not have been a 60 yr old legacy in this country.

                Ye to lolwa ho gaya...

You are comparing RE with Renegade...???
No other bike maker in that category can dream of selling 40000+ units a month in India... Renegade is placing themselves as a substitute to RE doesn't mean people will actually entertain them. It is not that easy to challenge a brand like RE and that too in India where people not only buy them but worship them at the same time...

Here is a hint to the auto makers. Please give a round lamp atleast as option. It looks more retro than anything else.

I am on your side on this, but for a different reason! When RE changed hands it was not making much in cash, so R&D was not possible at that time, lack lust response to the AVL engine was not helping things either. Now they have enough cash flow to have a proper R&D facility and results can already be seen (Himalayan).

Retro(Spoke)wheels would enhance the bike's looks

As a commuter bike, this is good, better looking 150 CC bike with good torque at commuter pricing. but commuters wont bother with "invincible" tag.

it might be an effort by bajaj to tell prospective customers that-- from now on bajaj bikes will be as robust and reliable as splendour or unicorn.

big question-- is this a glimpse of CS400, just as LS 135 was the turning point in naked bike styling for bajaj and future bikes evolved to 200NS.
