        140 kmph for fully faired 300 cc bike seems a bit low. i think it should easily touch 160 considering cbr250r can do 150 plus.

          The bike can easily do 160+.. we all have seen (dominar vs akula) video so let the final product to come out...
          Even g310r can touch 160 & akula has fairing so it can go above 160+

            Silly how numbers are just thrown around with one unverified anecdote of Dominar chasing the probable Akula. The top speeds are determined by at which rpm the max power is delivered and the total bhp of the bike. So may be it can do 130+, 140+, 150+, 160+ or even 170+ but no one knows for sure until they put out the actual specs.

              Unverified??... I think u haven't seen the video clearly... The way it was pulling over dominar on 160 we can assume that wat this bike will be capable off..... It's true the specs matter but tuning also plays an important roll... Lets just wait for the official launch & review to come up!!.

                The akula was doing 150 plus on mmsc on a open stretch should do 170 pretty comfortably, I went for closed door testing of the akula , it's pretty quick, more stable than the rc390 according to one rc rider.

                      If tvs manages to put out the performance​ same as rc390 with a refined engine than this pricing will be justified.

                        It's got usd forks, a bmw engine, the display is from Austria, a few components are exported, overall bike looks obviously good, the tyre size is same as the rc.
