    Also got an info from another friend this morning that the Akula comes in 3 shades. Glossy Black, Red and the Matt Black (Im buying the Matt one if its true). The track bikes are fully wrapped including the headlamps and with no indicators, so they didn't say anything about color and stuff.
    So do think that it can achieve top speed of 170+ ??....

      Not yet. At least in the bikes our folks tested. The 2nd track testing happened nearly 2 months back. Eagerly waiting for today's feedback.
      I'm not much into speed, cruising at 100-130 would do for me. And it looks like the Akula would do that.

        130-140 is will not be a big deal for the akula... But in order to stand with the competition it should go above 170+ & dominar chasing akula video gives the hint that it might be going above or at least touching 170.

                    Feedback from Track Testing 3.
                    Top speed has been reduced. They were able to do 140+ only and high end is lagging. The bike feels refined and the sprockets should have been changed it seems. Also they said that rev limiter is short around 9.5 to 10. Brakes are amazing. Also they said TVS would have changed the ECU maps from last time towards performance. Seating posture is good as well. The above means the bike has the potential to be a tourer and track machine.

                    So if TVS puts in a 15L tank, we got something great here!
                    PS: this tank thing is my expectation as I hate frequent fuel stops. 😂

                      We already know what the engine is capable of (the Dominar vs akula video) I think ecu remapping could increase the power for the acceleration junkies... I wonder how that would affect the engine refinement

                        Not all maps are towards power increment bro. Like battery modes in phones, maps for balanced, performance and powersave. Just a reference here

                        I'm sure TVS would release with a balanced map and third parties would come up with some ECUs like Powertronic, etc which would have different maps @ profiles..

                        But again, we cant stop those speed only lovers from damaging the engine.

                          Correct me if I'm wrong but manufacturers launch the bikes with the engine tuned at 70% of its potential. Like you said with piggyback ecu like powertronic, I bet they'll come up with maps that increase both the acceleration and mileage without taking a hit on the engine refinement

                            I'm expecting a track specific kit from tvs apart from the road going version of the Akula. Can't wait to see the bike in action in the group B/ 300-400cc road racing class
