My friend I know there's no bike which doesn't have any issues all of them have it .I was jus asking in general (not particularly about any brand) that if they test the bike so much then there should not be any issue with the bikes apart from normal wear n tear bro.Originally posted by sambit View Post

Haha! I am a RTR180+200 owner too. No issues that I've faced in 6-7 years of owning these bikes. Neither has anything failed ever.Originally posted by sambit View PostWhen one dont have a bike, how can he generalize any issue!! I am an ex owner of RTR 180(for 70K kms & 6 years). After that I had a CBR, now a R3. I can assure you RTR was no less than my current rides in reliability/handling/ride quality. Yes only this it lacked is refinement when compared to Japanese. Know how to take care of a bike. It will never ever give you any issue.
And small issues are there in everybike. Even R3 has some niggles.
I just did not want to start a fight with him, so i kept quiet. Rather i can say the way i use my bikes, if it were something else engine would have seized by now.
Anyway, I think you got my point. Hehe

I agree with you here!! The fact is, everyone's riding sense and the way of riding is different!! When it comes to real life scenario! There will always be issues! I work as a Software Test Engineer and despite the fact we cover as many scenarios as possible, there will be bugs found inthe production environment which is not in our hands!! There will be billions of ways the bike can be used and all of them will be similar to each other but not the same!! The manufacturer can only test to their limits and that's why they give warranty!!Originally posted by shaik4023 View PostMy friend I know there's no bike which doesn't have any issues all of them have it .I was jus asking in general (not particularly about any brand) that if they test the bike so much then there should not be any issue with the bikes apart from normal wear n tear bro.

Don't compare softwares to motorcycles man
Softwares even after 10 years of usage in the market will still be sucky. Not Motorcycles
Motorcycles even with their many teething problems are still a pleasure to operate. Not softwares!!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Hahaha. I was just comparing that even after testing with all possible scenarios, there will be some issues coming up! Be it software or machine! Machine could fail due to defects during parts manufacturing!!Originally posted by The Monk View PostDon't compare softwares to motorcycles man

That's a sort of satisfying answer to my question. At least you understood what I asked about . cause instead of understanding the question properly some people just get furious thinking I am saying something about their bikes .I ride motorcycle and I very well know what a motorcycle means to a biker .Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostI agree with you here!! To solidify what rreneav had said about testing, here is my piece of information about vehicle testing. Usually a vehicle's testing starts from a very early stage of its life, consider this as the 2 main stages before the vehicle hits the road 1. Design stage and 2. Production stage. Most of the individual components will go through a fare share of testing for various conditions from endurance, strength, periodic loading, manufacturability and importantly tool ability ( how it can be manufactured) at a very early stage of designing itself. Next all these components will be tested during sub assembly level to check if the components fixes in at the right position without rubbing against neighbouring components. Once all the individual components and sub assemblies are built and tested they will go for the first raw prototype build (first ever complete build of a vehicle) This is where the vehicle goes for road tests which will be conducted at a facility owned track. The track consists of many potholes, speed humps, water logged roads, rocky roads, muddy roads and what not. There are atleast four proto builds done before hitting the production stage, where the vehicle will be refined after every build. Mind you all these tests will be done till that particular vehicle is completely scrapped (till the vehicle breaks down completely) after all these proto builds are done and dusted, there will be the pre production models builds, only at this stage the vehicle will look very similar to the ones that will be on for sale. Here is where the vehicles will be given for test rides or drives with other expert riders or drivers outside the company's people. After this based on feedback from various experts the vehicle will be further refined to go ok for production. Besides the vehicle which you see in spy shots or camouflaged are usually the second, third or forth proto build vehicles. So all these spyshots of vehicles aren't exactly the ones you will see during the launch. One more point is warranty period of a vehicle is usually given as 1 or 2 yrs but in reality most of the mechanical components are tested to atleast last for 5 years before slowly starting to show signs of old age. Usually many brands stick to testing these protos for a minimum of 6 months to over a year at the max. After all these testing you may ask why are some lemons been sold for that usually the answer is because of the production flaws or because of a flaw in a particular batch due to various factors. No machine is perfect even some Ducati and Bmw vehicles are lemons or imperfect vehicles, but they are in very low numbers because of their stringent quality checking. We Indian manufacturers have a nature of "chalega" attitude many a times hence there are many defect vehicles been sold but again that is changing as to compete with other world class rivals the quality checking in here has improved leaps and bounds. Yes testing is a very tedious one to say the least, you can not get an all perfect vehicle which scores perfect in all various scenarios. In the end it's us who ride them and we are the ones to keep them in good conditions knowing their perfections and imperfections.Originally posted by shaik4023 View PostThat's a sort of satisfying answer to my question. So if my guess is correct the very recent spy shots of the RTR 310 is the last proto builds which are tested and the final launch should be in by min 1 month to a max of 2 months from now, if all things are going correct unless the management has other plans.
