    Rajiv Bajaj is a difficult man to understand. Earlier he stated that 250 is not coming to India but it suddenly came like a bang. I also read somewhere that KTM will keep ABS as standard on 200, 250 & 390D but now this news.

      The main problem is we can't attach it on the older bikes once purchased that is MAIN concern... If that was possible it would have been better man.... So frustrated.... FZ, NEW NS, NOW D250 all of these lack..... Only the option is left with G310R... don't know when they will launch may be in 2020 or 2021....

            They were supposed to here by last oct only.... Now the new dates are APR-JUN 2017.... They may also get post poned to APR-JUN 2018 i guess ....

                "The government has made it compulsory for all two-wheelers, which account for the highest share of accidents in the country, to either have the anti-lock braking system (ABS) or the combined braking system (CBS) by April 2019.

                Two-wheeler manufacturers will have to fit the equipment for the existing scooter or bike models available for sale in the market by that time, and for all new models they plan to introduce from April 2018."

                Sorry It is April 2018 and not April 2017 for the new models.

                    I was waiting for the white colour option that was showcased in EICMA. Sadly they have only one colour for duke 390 here

                      I guess it makes sense on the manufacturer's part to not include abs looking at the market conditions. Unless and until the govt makes it mandatory, no manufacturer is going to take the additional cost burden and affect their sales. People want abs, but don't want the prices to go up..

                        Me too, but now I can't wait any further for new color or new launches, the price bump of 30k is little more than expected. Will book it today.

                        I would have considered 250 only if it got all features of 390.

                              Not about price friend.... at least they should have kept it as an option..... same with new ns200.... it was also spied with ABS while testing.... now it doesn't have as an option also in 2017 model

                                What about the seat height of 830mm? Did you guys get a chance to take a seat on it and check?
                                What about riding modes as a feature ? i did not see any mention of it.

                                Edit: Is the TFT display susceptible to theft ? I see that its bolted on by few screws , as seen from the pics.
