i doubt these are 'euro' spec or whatever 'import' spec. not seen any official notification from ktm... maybe just some human/machine error while installing the body panels and hence the color difference.. Or maybe they were Indian spec but for demo/display purpose. If one noticed, some of the initial display/demo/test ride bikes(check the initial test rides by various automotive channels) had an orange fork dust seal, whereas the ones that went on sale had a full black dust cap over (not sure if the one under it is orange).Originally posted by sparky View PostNo, on the contrary I think they are unlucky I would say so because the euro specs are not the best for our country and what if something needs replacement which was not of indian spec.
Selling an automobile that was not homologated for India could put the manufacturer in trouble.
let's chuck this 'import spec is better' attitude

Is it possible to choose insurance company of our own??if so .. how?? please let me knowOriginally posted by 44horses View PostHere in Karnataka also, the showroom people have quoted me 6000 for the insurance which is too much I know a friend in one insurance company and he said he will do it for less around 4K; also its a bumper to bumper, so its better to opt for the other insurance agents than the showrooms offer
