      I got a call from KTM east, Mumbai that the first few customers are been asked whether they need the white limited edition of d390. They said they are getting 8 bikes in white liveries in next 2 days. I denied and asked for the orange coloured bike as I am skeptical as to how white colour is made available before the advertised orange.

          Tax is calculated on ex showroom price. So it will be bikes with ex shwrm price above 1L. I don't have any info on the price hike, was just clearing your doubt regarding that statement.

                My best guess is ex showroom remains identical, and On road tax increases from 12 to 18%, so if it was 12k tax earlier for a 1 lakh bike, it'd be 18k now. Tax is calculated on Delivery date as per KTM showroom guy, I'm pleading him to get my 390 before the month end or i might end up paying 10k or more in taxes than before if it gets delivered even on April 1st, taking the OTR of new 390 to 2.8L or something here in Bangalore, which is ridiculous.

                      Confirmed with the showroom guy, apparently there's some approval pending for the 390 which is to happen near 25th of the month, and dispatch/deliveries will begin post that, which will mostly be in April and the cost will raise by 13-15k (From ~2.68 to ~2.8+), sigh.

                            They have asked me to check the white bike. If I like it, they will deliver the bike in 3-4 days. They have 8 in stock.

                                the approval is pending only for Bangalore or whole karantaka?!
