I have two doubts here..

this 2.66 On road price including MY ride or without it? also if possible can we opt out my ride?

I have seen the TFT display closely.. noticed.. the two notification lights were turned off in two different places..
When going through multiple videos.. i have found those two notifications are cruise control & traction control.. anyone has any update on this???

The quote I got from KTM had only one pricing for D390 and it was 2.65~ OTR Mumbai.

And going by the launch event, no reviewer has mentioned it having cruise control or traction control.

Sagar sheldeker of powerdrift mentioned d250 is not for touring because:
a) It has heating issues since the fan kicks in a little late
b) Vibrations around midrange!

Cruise control and Traction control??! I ve read many articles about 390 nowhere there is a clue about those, from where did u find that info?!

and 2.66 OTR includes MYride as per the showroom guy I spoke to but it is limited to phone sync only no GPS and stuff

Check this Video Bro !!!





You can literally see the gaps in bottom left( below the ABS symbol and near N symbol) and one gap in top right (inbetween oil warning and highbeam symbol).. what i mean is when lights are arranged vertically and evenly.. we can spot strange gap.. thats how hidden features came out.

Goto 00:34 and check.... all the lights will come up except the two places i mentioned.....and those symbols are clearly visible when there is no glare.

Just for fellow members reference. Symbols of ABS, Traction Control and Cruise Control.





Also --- Is My ride optional ? so that we can opt out to lessen the on road price??

No one in this world got hands on 2017 DUKE 390 except KTM engineer and factoy test riders. They had sent the DUKE 250 to showroom early before launch itself( they were keeping DUKE 250 as secret till announcement. nobody expected)

but duke 390 is spotted many times during test rides.pictures came up . updated in KTM INDIA official site..but still its not sent to dealers till date(atleast till the indian launch).

So my guess is either cruise and traction control is only for European and other costly markets or they are going to come with surprise.

I asked one KTM manager here in bangalore about this. He told "Dont know about cruise control but traction control on the way before 2018 end".

So chances are there, KTM will surprise us once again like what they did with outgoing duke 390 and slipper clutch in 2016 models.

Still we cant trust KTM showroom guys.. because we people have more updates than showroom guys ...

Plz check the proofs i have given

Traction control will be added in the 2019/2020 major update

its already there bro. its just matter of those models with traction & cruise control will reach indian customers or not..!!??

Its on the meter doesnt mean its present on the bike. It wont be present on 390's across the globe at the moment . According to my sources, the next update will get traction control, but no info about cruise control.

It's the same in case of cars as well. For eg: The swift shows Cruise control, doesn't really have it.

Though I'll not rule this out completely. Fiat Linea has cruise control, but wasn't enabled. One of my friend did enable it himself through a DIY! Works perfect.

Woah that's some thing u found there! and I guess yesterday or today in Mumbai the First 390 launch happened and they got hands on, maybe they can tell us something.


if Cruise control is true they they might give it with software updates later or so.

Actually slipper clutch addition, adjustable levers, exhaust.. all those things are mechanical parts. then its a major update and hard thing.

But since we already have fuel injection, ABS, Speed sensors, Wheel Spin Sensors(the ABS rings I dont know how to call that) and Ride by wire as default, Cruise control and Traction control is not going to be a overhaul. So Mostly Its just going to be a software program similar to ABS to control your wheel spin in case of Traction Control and just accelerate and maintain the speed in any speed, in case of Cruise control.

You gotta either own the bike or use the phone able enough for NFC to download the app! Just like the VR app dedicated for Samsung! You won't even find the apk file for at least 1 year after launch!

I asked the Showroom guys why one month waiting for D390 whereas no waiting for D250. They said there are some changes been made to the D390, even they are not aware exactly what changes are been made. I saw the bike prior to showroom launching today and oh boy !! thats a huge bike.

Hm. The 250 has a waiting period of 45 to 90 days in Bangalore.
