Seems like according to the performance figures released by powerdrift,Fz25 is faster than duke 250 in terms of 0-60 and 0-100 acceleration timings.But its just puzzling how an approx 20hp could outrun a 30hp or are those figures false or something like that?

Today took test ride of duke 250, I must say ktm has done a nice job. It's smooth and clutch is very light. Really liked it and exhaust nots is decent too.

The reduction in vibrations is phenomenal imho.. it doesnt numb your hands after riding for 10 mins..

Same here.. the only reason i hated the old gen ktms were because of the horrid vibrations that made it impossible to ride for me coming from a yamaha.. but the new Rc 390 was surprisingly vibe free although it did heat up but not as much as the old one.. Eagerly waiti g for the duke 390 Test ride to compare them ergo wise and choose which one to get down the line..

Vibrations are contained well in the new D390. No vibrations are felt on the handlebar, but the panels do have vibrations all over them but it's fine for a single cylinder 400cc bike.

Regarding heating, it tends to heatup the thigh resting area of the seat. Now this might be since the bike war on neutral and people were revving the hell out of it. I wonder will people do this to their own bikes.

Chances are high [emoji12]people may think of using this display to watch movies at their home. Don't know why some retarded people do such type of activity. Pretty much chances that the new bike will receive scratches, cuts or mutilation if parked on public places.

List of upgrades / improvements on the 2017 Duke 390

Ride by wire
TFT screen with mobile sync via bluetooth, music controls and it even shows the battery voltage!
Full LED headlamp with DRL
Fuel capacity increased from 11lts to 13.4lts, thats a 21% increase
Metal fuel tank
Ground clearance increased from 170mm to 185mm
Front disc brake rotor size increased from 300mm to 320mm bigger
Adjustable levers
EURO 4 and Bharat stage 4 compliant
Torque increased by 2NM
Height adjustable open cartridge front fork (not clear how to change the height)
UV resistant paint
Better cushioned and wider seats
Bolt-on sub frame

I also read somewhere that the lower rated tyres will increase its useful life. Someone please confirm this as I'm unsure

I have booked it a month back. Delivery is expected in first week of april.

I cant understand why the media ride hasnt happened yet, no ride reviews, no test ride vehicle either and in fact no single 390 delivered. Whereas the deliveries of D250 began few weeks back
