By that logic Pulsar 135, 150, 180, 220, NS200, AS200, RS200, NS150, AS150 are all variants of Pulsar? So no its gonna have only ABS version. Maybe in future it might get Fuel Injection as a variant. Also HMC is launching the bike by stating that it has ABS. They cant launch a downgraded version later on. The only upgrade would be FI and possibly dual channel ABS.
(as an example look at Gixxer. They launched the bike by advertising Drum brakes-2014. Then they advertised Rear disc brakes-2016. Then they advertised ABS-2017. See teh trend that manufacturers are following?)
The only thing that makes this bike better is the assumption that it will have 14nm of torque @2500 RPM. So its gonna pull insanely in Cities at low rpms.
