Because Hero high end bikes have a reputation of impeccable reliability. The best tourers in this country have been the Zma and the ZMR.
Good to know that. I am fed up with pathetic showroom response. It’s been 2 times I have escalated the issue with hero high level. Then only they care of customer and get feedback forms signed.

Yeah but its coming with abs and honda is famous for pricing its products at a premium. Hornet, apache, pulsar etc have established themselves in the market whereas hero is still looking to capture scone amount of market share is premium segment....

Yes, it's true if xtreme proves itself w.r.t engine quality, i will sell my hornet and buy xtreme 200. Even the owner in the video posted above previously owned a hornet [emoji3][emoji4]

Deliveries have started but I don't know why there is no proper review, (apart from that race circuit reviews) forget review not even price announcement.

One thing is for sure that xtreme will have a much softer suspension than most of the premium 150 to 160cc streed fighters. After riding my super splendor when i ride my hornet on bad roads i feel that my bones will come out of my body [emoji23][emoji23]

Stiffer suspension and low profile tyre. They both add to the poor ride quality but good handling. Even I felt the same when I switched from hunk to sz-r and fz16...

                            True that.

Good old times when Hero gave us better Honda products than what Honda gave.

Nowadays neither of them give us anything good.

The layman isn't going to bother himself with the torque curves. This looks very commuterish and I don't think targeting it at young folks is a good idea! Frankly, Hero has been very late in responding to the competition and I hope this one's launch isn't too late to pull off decent figures and keep their motivations alive.
Had thought of waiting for a decent product from Hero's stable to upgrade from the older-gen ZMR but it's been almost a decade. Will have to start looking elsewhere now as I feel it would take another half a decade for them to come up with a 300-400cc product.
                              ZMR- PGMFI re-defined

Duets button quality is not bad, just very average. I have a duet for last 2yrs, n the buttons are going okay. Well, except for the pass switch which is stuck in hell!!
And it's better still than my brother in law's Yamaha Alfa where the side indicator is so soft, you don't get when it's tick-tocked!!
The front plastic flap is another story. Broke mine's plastic holder on one side, and it started to vibrate like crazy. Had to put in a piece of rubber to stop it vibing.
