They have never listened to the target audience, never bothered to find out what is the latest tech in the two wheeler market. Today every other brand is offering wide forks, mono-shocks and wide YET lighter tyres to provide better handling and grip and Hero is still offering the old 90's fork & suspension setup. Apache 160 4v looks much more upto date in terms of specs and design.

I was looking forward to sell off my cb unicorn 160 (dec 2017) and buy the xtreme 200r, now I won't do it and wait for a worthy motorcycle to upgrade.
Also, missing of 4 valves, oil cooling, and most importantly ac electricals in today's world of leds.

Seems everyone wants to know about 200r, but nobody wants to buy it.[emoji16][emoji16]

The problem is that the bike looks too commuterish for an youngster and 200cc looks like an overkill for a family man. Add to it the fact that it's performance is not too great when compared to 160cc bikes.

IMO the side profile looks great but the headlight seems to have been almost directly lifted from the Glamour.

Yeah, neither it has performance level of 160 4v, nor it is fuel efficient. + boring looks, it has become a flop, people have bought more pricier gixxer, hornet, fz , rtr over this [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Today test ride this bike. Nothing special in the bike except the ABS which works brilliantly.
The rider seat is very narrow. I think it's narrowest sheet among all.
Lower end is good but engine is not rev happy as 4v or hornet.
I test rode above bikes back to back. But 200r some how not that impressive what I was thinking.

Sheet? you mean Seat? The Seat is narrow? Are you kidding?

The bike is built for low end torque, its not supposed to be rev happy...

It does take off like a regular 150cc bike we had 8 years ago.
It is the most embarrassing thing of 2018 bike launches. It burns a lot of crude oil for fun like flipping a coin or chewing a grass.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Also mileage is also not so good as per reviews.

Yeah! I test rode it recently, it had vibrations all over the rpm range, feels slightly torquier than my hornet, and the engine is not as rev happy as apache 160 4v.

I have thought of buying it and modding it to impulse type(only spokes wheels as of now)
                            Is it possible guys..

It's actually a derivative of the 150 cc goodness. 160 mill is only with Honda in Unicorn 160 and Hornet, and the X blade.

I compared the riding feel with respect to a 160cc engine. And , yes it's derived from achievers engine.
