    Why don't you guys get a life and accept the fact that technology is going to evolve no matter you like it or not.

    If you guys had it your way, we would have still be riding bullocks and horses, because if some dude got himself a bike then who would have the existing horse owners feel?

    Just sick of people cribbing in each and every new launch thread.
    One observation. Same people commenting same shit in same brand threads. If you hate a specific brand why bother straying into its related threads and comment?

          Post-1 : That looks like XCD125 Engine (Bajaj says it's DTS-Si v2.0), so xcd engine plonked into old discover 110 chassis....that's D100
          Discover brand now has covered 100/110/125/135cc segments, I guess the next discover will be D150(touted to be 'sprint')--- D125 Chassis with Pulsar Engine
          If sales don't pick up on D100/D150(sprint), the next ones will be XCD110, XCD150...!!
          Next set will be ofcourse based on DTS-Si V3....


          Post - 2 : Why not pent roof and molykote piston on on XCD125/ just launched XCD135, how would present owners feel about higher technologies on latest models ? Do you think these are 6 months old break-through technologies ??

          Respected Moderator/s, Can you point out any flaming words or brand war kind of sentence here which attracts infraction ?

                  I think this is great package, Bajaj tried to fit all in a small bike to get back in 100cc segment. I am impressed with specs sheet now only time will tell how it works in real world. 100cc bike cant get better than this at this price.

                    More important than packaging the product, Bajaj must also concentrate on marketing the bike. Most 100cc commuters blindly belive in HH bikes, they dont give damn to what ignition process system, what kind of material used in pistion or OH. Disco 100 is indedd very good package with proper pricing, but it needs do the trick to to attract the customers from 100cc segment.

                    So we need to see how bajaj markets and campains its re-entry in 100cc segment. I hope they dont claim fancy mileage figures again.

                        Firstly, I didn't quite like the graphics on the newly downgraded Discover..
                        & having owned a Discover-135 until a couple of months ago, I can strongly vouch for the fact that it lacks a 5th cog.. But I think its not too great an idea having added the 5th cog on the 100cc variant.. Bajaj should have introduced it in the erstwhile 135cc first, & then on this one (if really needed)..

                        Secondly, I think Bajaj could have done without Nitrox, LED tail-lamps etc on this 100cc.. They should have instead put the LED tail-lamps on the 135cc first..
                        These things will only add to the cost, & Bajaj could have easily expected to sell more numbers if the bike was priced lower.. After all, most 100cc buyers buy/use the bike solely for commuting, & not for the looks..

                          i am thinking whether the suspension would be comfy enuf
                          because the front forks look lean .... wish on charge of some extra money they would provide more fat forks ... but i know that will not happen
                          comfort plays a big role

                          who cares if tomorrow dts si v2.15 or v2.16 comes out

                          atleast we know they are progressing ...
                          and whatever bajaj is doing is on its own strength
                          and i very much appreciate that
                          if they stick on dts - i we start cribbing
                          if they advance and bring dts - si we start cribbing
                          if they fail on FI we start cribbing
                          if they revert back to dts - i we crib

                          remember it was the launch of P220 DTS - I which defeated the R15 on top end ( even if its takes some x.xx kms additional ) .... the thing is they
                          did it

                          result .... yamaha and tvs pissed off ...
                          tvs says we need faster accelarting bikes - menace
                          yamaha declares their performance kits will recover their pride
                          and probably it will but not on road ... only on tracks
                          on road p220 will remain fastest

                          the outcome of all this would be that even yamaha and tvs and for that matter other companies too will start developing or bring technology from abroad ....

                          so you see infact BAL is also aiding to help us advance in the automotive scene

                          and if they researched and made improvement in the ignition even by
                          0.1 % .... why can they give it out with a different version name
                          if they would say
                          " oh this is very small improvement.... lets use dts - si version 1
                          instead of dts - si version 2 "
                          again here people would crib .... ohh these guys are stuck at the same place

                          i would say give them some respect for whatever they are trying to do
                          and take a breather guys

                          " ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY "
