  • @tenhut,dushyant,midnight - Congrats guys. Enjoy your ride and please do post regular updates on the ownership thread.

@ashutosh & others - Please keep your cool guys. With every new bike the delivery process takes some time to get normal and believe me once you get your bike you will feel its worth the wait.

I was spared by any ill luck and collected my bike at 4 pm today. The delivery process was fabulous and the showroom guys were pretty good.

They had a protocol of what all was to be explained to the customer during the delivery and they did that fabulously.

I think the showroom guys are as helpless as what we are when it comes to updates. If the they dont get any updates from bajaj all they can do is speculate and go wrong in their speculation. I would not blame the showroom..but ofcourse its easy for me to say as i have already gotten the bike. My verdict however still stands : Pune PBK was excellent ( at least to me )

I rode 140 kms today since 4 pm and it just rocked the roads beyond oblivion. Still in the engine run in phase ofcourse, so didnt open
the throttle much. But with only 1/4th of the throttle opened the bike felt like a true SBK.

Bah...i think I will sleep in my garage today. Uploading pics in the ownership experience thread !

        Ciao
Hearty congratulations Tenhut buddy. I hope your great riding experience just goes on and on and on....

Thanks MG, and YES...I am pretty confident that its worth the wait and I fully understand that the whole process could actually consume some time. No one can help it!

Cheers and lets continue the wait

                  • Bangalore is one of the prime 'Bike' cities of India.. blessed with a moderate climate and home to many Software Techies with high disposable income..

the Ninja 250R should definitely sell well in Bangalore.

Thanks MG......will keep you all posted. I am still waiting for the bike but should be getting it another 1-2 days now as it has landed in the city. I was one of the lucky ones who are getting the bike within 10-15days of booking. Its really tough to wait and require lot of patience. I am very desperate to get the bike and I believe Bandhav will be fed up recieving calls from me daily.....

                          • lets good times roll ! yes its absolutely perfect day for me today. i went with my friends today to see my friends ninja. it was awesome as we know how it looks drop dred gorgeous. i should thank Mr Srini to give the bike how it feels. i did turn on the switch the city lamp did turn on automatically. start your engine did say the green, wow the sound was very soothing to the ears surely a rahamanic.i did take the bike to old mahabalipuram, on the first whip of the throttle came the sbkish type of power,i own a r15 but i could feel the diff very much the twin motor was romantic she did fly to 120kmph within secs and the braking which i discovered only at that moment oh wow no words it did stop with no fuss even a millimeter.seating is like more or less than sbk. surely i did feel bajaj should give test ride because they can sell 2000 units for sure because when i ride only i got know the magic of the bike.it handles like dream and cuts like a knife in the butter or cheese.vibration did tell to me that he was angry because this bike dint have it lol. folks pls dont ever crib about the priceing because it is worth the money for sure sure sure. kudos to bajaj for bringing this bike to india which every one can dream of getting it for sure.analog is also ok but no fuel gauge for a mini sbk is the one and only minus point to me which i felt. folks ride it to belive it which i did today !

                            • Rode with the ninja to Lavasa yesterday. The bike has tremendous road presence and looks stunning when in motion. The sitting position is sporty yet less aggressive as compared to the R15 because of the comparatively front placed footrests. So the bike would also make for a good touring companion.

The overall quality is top notch and the bike looks beautiful from all angles. Steel plated front footrests and a digital dial would have made this baby ninja a flawless piece of machinery.

Can't wait to test the oomph of the parallel twins and the bike's stability across corners.

Good notes. Especially when they come from two R15 owners would clarify many apprehensions some of our members have.

I feel these two comments should be in the Ownership thread too. Pls copy them there.
