      Both

I wont be as much charmed by it as I am now (perhaps) and 'it' will lose its charm

No idea about the booking number as the number that I have got on the receipt is not a simple integer like '12' or '13' but in form of some alphanumeric characters like - DQ\791 (something like that). I will have to look at the receipt at home to find out what exactly that is.

I made the booking at around 4:45 PM on 11th Oct.

I had a simpler design for the MT01. Basically it is rectangular box cage. One of the longer faces is a split door. The shorter faces have two wheels on them on each side. Basically the whole box slides forwards and backwards on these wheels. The idea is to park the bike, open the doors, slide the cage over the bike and close the doors once the bike is inside. You can weigh down the cage with gym weights on the side-panels on the inside.

For a simple design like this using Mild-Steel and Slotted-L sections, the estimated cost was around 25000. This was a bit rich for my taste so I just parked the bike in a neighbor's garage

I made booking on 12th at 1:00pm. I have DQ/798 and DQ/799. Told later that this is booking 18 & 19. 1 green and 1 black. No idea on delivery although was told black would be quickier.

                  It's funny you say that.

I remember reading a story called the 'Episode' by Somerset Maugham. In this story, a guy is in love with this girl but has to go to jail for theft for an year and half before he could marry her. Just a fortnight before he is to be released, he confides in his friend, 'I'm not going to marry her. I've thought about her night and day for eighteen months and now I'm sick to death of her.'

And then a third person narrative in the same story - 'Well, I can see his point, you know. Imagination's an odd thing, it dries up; I suppose, thinking of her incessantly all the time he'd exhausted every emotion he could give him, and I think it was literally true, he'd just got sick to death of her. He'd squeezed the lemon dry and there was nothing to do but throw away the rind.'

I read this story around 15 years ago, but I still remember it~ I hope my Ninja 250R doesn't go the same away after 6 months of waiting...

Good stuff. That clearly means my booking is way before serial number 18. . Moreover, mine is a black one. (I have been redundant with this)
Also, great to know you booked two of them! Cheers to you and your spirit!

What an apt story! Marvellous . I too seriously hope we dont end up being in the shoes of the main character of this story. lol .

                      • I booked my Ninja (black) on 10.10 and the initial 40k amount receipt does have have any booking number.

Subsequently I paid balance amount on 16.10 and the receipt is showing my booking no.D/AQ/815. So there seems to be some confusion about booking nos.

As I mentioned before...Pune PBK has a new theory every hour! Its quite variable and the graph of the variable against time would be an interesting one to plot!

It could also be possible that booking numbers dont mean anything

                            • Just saw one Ninja - green colour passing on Tilak road. No number plate but the rider was not wearing bajaj uniform. :-(
