  • @niks_devil666 - That is the only colour available in India other than black..
People used to say black colour for bike means bike will feel/look small and curves will not be visible....
Personally I like the blue colour...

There is no easy provision for adding a frame slider in the Ninja 250R fairing gap, ( I had a close look). You would have to make slight structural changes (adding mounting rails near the left and right engine) and even make a cut in the counter shaft cover to be able to bolt those on.

This is pretty much a grey area as far as warranty goes - risky. I would not do it if I were you.

This weblink might help us to find how to install frame slider in Ninja 250

If you must nitpick, the Ninja 250 does not have a fuel gauge. It is actually a negative point, but there are people who do not quite care about it, but for me, it is actually a BIG negative point, if you might ask.

As per Bluevolt couple of pages earlier, the low fuel light gets on when the fuel level in the tank is 4 litres. Do you think it would be helpful to compensate for the negative point that it has no fuel guage? Please let me know of your views on it.

One negative point that I feel that many have overlooked is the kind of service that the probiking service places will be able to provide.

The Ninja is way beyond what those people have dealt with till now, even the 220 DTS-Fi does not require the level of expertise that a true blue(er... green) 250 will require. We had heard of the ancedotes of the oil coolers being screwed up by service people for 200/220s.

While I have not dealt with the probiking service places, if they are anything to go by the regular Bajaj Service Stations, its gonna be a messy thing.

These days, there aren't bad products. Most of the bikes that are available on the market are quite good, without any serious drawbacks. What now sets them apart, and will do more and more in the future is the after sales support....

                      • @Psycho: There a few Bajaj technicians who have already come back from abroad after a thorough training on the servicing of the Ninja 250. So, that isn't going to be a major issue, I believe.

As for the PBK service, I am not sure about other cities, but here in Delhi, their service is really good. There are more than enough members who would vouch for that. I have never ever serviced my P200 except at PBKs (at Okhla), and I am thoroughly satisfied with their servicing.
                        :)

If that is the case, then for sure Bajaj has worked hard for the PBKs. We can then hope for proper care for the greenery.

                          • ^^ just to add, at the time of delivery Mr. S V Subramaniam ~ GM Service handed me over a letter that states the Service center address, One Company Trained Service Advisor with mobile number and one company trained Technician with mobile number, designated for my bike
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.

                            • Well, you were the first 'Ninja' so to speak, so perhaps the extra touch. Wonder if that will change when the 1000th customer takes the Ninja! I am sure I am going to be the 1000th one since there is no Bajaj owned probiking showroom in Bangalore and they probably haven't even laid the foundation stone!
