try calling them after 2- 3 months when you need ur first service ,same old lame bajaj service will greet you.
try kawiforums.com. they have a lot of DIY stuff ,servicing & mods to the bike.

No wonder, then, that you have not put up a profile pic of YOUR actual mug.

That is totally off topic, impolite, disrespectful and disgusting of you to write something like that. This is a biking forum and not one to throw insults on the fellow members!

                    Stop being so touchy. Jeez!

Don't worry Bro, I am with you as I would be 1001 as I am also waiting for them to lay foundation stone for Showroom in Bangalore.

gouravkatyal: No need to call these guys as they would not selling Baby Ninja. 45 days to lay foundation stone for showroom, 3 months to make it operational and then the wait period as most of the bikes from first lot would be gone.. Also, by then we might have few more options as AutoExpo 2010 would be there in Delhi.

                        • I was waiting for Ninja's launch from the time it was displayed at the Expo and I think that the 3 lac price does justice to what the bike has to offer.
But what we really need to think about is, can anyone in India afford to have the Ninja as their only bike? The answer unfortunately is NO! Even with the p220 being a common feature on the Mumbai roads, it is still prone to Vandalism and rough treatment from our brethren living in the streets. Every time in the parking lot (Multi-plexes, malls or office) we find a few curious people lingering around the bike and fidgeting with the consoles and pretending to ride the bike. And this after more than 2 years of the 220 launch.
Most common type of damage done are that to the decals...they get flicked especially that of the 220, scratching the bike and destroying the paint, getting the side mirrors loose, ruining the gear box by gear changing on the stationary bike, and tearing the seat removing the foam out. Imagine any of this happening to the Ninja brought by us!!!! And this is highly probable.

Mumbai Roads = (NO parking + Pay and Parks) - (really really bad roads with pot holes)

The road tax I pay funds the people who tow away my vehicle, the money I pay the RTO to release my vehicle funds new no-parking boards!!!!

Some body needs to be terminated!!!!!!

Well, this is right, it is a bit sporty. But, when the going gets long, it is not that bad.

It is much less extreme, in comparison with Hyosung GT250R. Taller handlebars, with comparatively lower and front set footpegs ... and don't compare to other International Sportsbikes at all!

All I can say is, its sporty if you want it to and its comfortable too... based on Magazine reports, and lots of pics.

Second that. buddy. I plan to buy motorcycle covers with a lock and cover the Ninja in my apartment parking lot at home.

And you don't need to build a fence, secure-a-bike storage will do!

Depends on the rider height too - if you are 5'10'', like I am, you might have to stretch your hands a bit to get to the handlebars. Not much, like 80 degrees. If you are 6 or above, it should be close to 100% neutral.
